Generally Ilike SNW and enjoyed watching it but the new Gorn stuff is just a copy from the Alien Movies.
Sam Kirk and M'Benga--AAARGGHHH they are implanting us with Gorn eggs in a violent graphic scene that we're surprised is being released for streaming television without a viewer warning!

Agent Daniels (shows up out of nowhere): Don't worry, both of you will survive since you have to appear on our reality documentary occurring about a decade from now. OHHH--Doc, is that a genuine vial of Protocol 12? You have no idea how rare these are in my time. I'll be grabbing one of these.

M'Benga: Seriously? You're not going to rescue us from the Gorn?

Daniels: Like I said, you'll survive.

I've been rewatching SNW to get ready for season 3, and I made it to the finale again. It will be 2 and a half weeks to remember this episode rather than 2 and a half years, so that's nice.

I think watching this series again in a week has made me change my mind on this Gorn storyline. I wonder how they will connect it to Arena (If they do), but they actually made the Gorn menacing and kind of scary rather than corny or barely visible like what we got in Enterprise. I'm still not sure about them basically being the Xenomorphs from the Alien franchise, but I have enjoyed all the episodes they have appeared in.

Looking forward to finally getting the cliffhanger resolution to this episode in a couple weeks.

Even though having Pike just stand there for Cliffhanger effect was laughable. You gotta make a decision Captain. That's why you're the Captain. I hope they come into the premiere episode guns a blazing.

I've been periodically rewatching the whole series too (starting with Disco S1+2) and have accidentally timed it out pretty well, I rewatched Subspace Rhapsody yesterday, so I only have Hedgemony to go. :)

I justify that the same way as in the older shows where just before an ad break they would stand around dramatically for the fade-out.

You want consistency, go to Mcdonald's for lunch.
Even Mickey Dees isn't the same anymore.
Their Fries are garbage now compared to before they went to the crap oils they use now. :barf:
And they skimp on all the condiments as well.
A fish sandwich gets a quarter of the cheese and tartar sauce it use to get.
(and doesn't taste the same as it used to either)

It is because the fish patty is deep-fried in the same oil they use for the potatoes. I stopped eating at McDonald's in 1997 when I got food poisoning from the 2 Big Macs for $2 deal. Ate them Sunday evening, and Monday morning at work was :barf:Big Mac attack from both ends.

I'm sure McDonald's is still consistent, just consistently bad.

The new Happy Meal toys look right up my alley though.

The toys would probably be better for your health than the meal.
