I'm going to sound like everyone else here. This was one of the few episodes this season so far that I really did enjoy. I also liked the holodeck one, and Through The Lens Of Time but that one with its wonly ending really, transporters can do that, hold a non corporeal in the buffer? I nearly screamed Bullshit at the screen but let it slide. This is Star Trek after all. /s

7/10 and around 11 minutes you see the TARDIS

Is there a reason to believe it can't? Isn't anyone using a transporter rendered "non-corporeal" for a few seconds?

No, isn't any person held in the transporter a stream of matter particles?

I just didn't like that weird spirit entity could be held in the same manner.

That's how they drove the noncopoeral prisoners from Data, Troi and O'Brien.
No, they left on their own because their fellow prisoners were trapped in that field Beverly thought up. (They almost got them in Ten Forward with the plasma shock to induce pain, but possessed Data stepped out of the way at the last second.)

Then once those 3 went with the others, they were beamed down.

Thank you

I'm going to rewatch this because it was one of the few good episodes this season. But it reminded me of an actual Dr Who episode. Wasn't the TARDIS in that show captured by scavengers, I think the episode was "journey to the centre of the TARDIS" with the 11th Doctor.

Shame that can't be these scavengers and we saw it from the Dr and companions point of view.

This show was very fast paced and intense the space pirates were ruthless . they certainly ahd a hard time of the Farragut and on the Enterprise to defeat a ruthless enemy and the suprizingg twist who the enemy was certainly not what I expected. Bravo!
