"KEEP THAT DAMN KIRK GUY OFF MY SHIP FOR MORE THAN A WEEK, WILL YOU?!?!?"
They may have been hedging their bets. Yes ST:SNW got it's S4 renewal order during S3 production; but at the time the writing room did the season 3 overview/outline of what stories/where, they didn't know they were greenlit for S4.
How likely do we think it is there's going to be two characters in that episode screaming "IS A MILITARY" and "ISN'T A MILITARY" at each other?Episode Seven sounds like it will be a transcript of a TrekBBS thread.![]()
Um, once they got the green light they did the normal Pre-Production for SNW S4. And S4 is actually filming right now.Which sounds to me like S4 will be the last, if they were worried that the show would be cancelled at the end of S3. How much production has actually started on S4?
There's also the possibility that at any time, Paramount could simply have them cease production. And if post-production isn't finished for SFA by that time, that's another problem. (Although I'm fairly certain it will be fine, but anything past the first season is now in doubt.)
They were over half finished several weeks ago. If I remember correctly, the plan is to be filming till about early August. How much production has actually started on S4?
There was a Star Trek movie called The Final Frontier, and I never believed it was going to be the end of the TOS movies.

Why aren't they talking about the filming of S4? Because in 10 weeks SNW S3 is being (finally) released to Streaming; so yeah, they want and need to focus on promoting that.
It might signify end of something, a character, some kind of era or something that has come to pass for them, not necessarily for us viewers.Which is why I said "vibe".

Why I don't rank.Hey, for a guy who didn't like season 2, I reckon I was being fairly positive!
I didn't say any of the episodes would be bad, I just said one would be worse. Which is entirely subjective I know, but certain episodes tend to fall to the bottom of people's rankings.

Yes, the last thing people would want to do is promote the *checks notes* upcoming season.Um, once they got the green light they did the normal Pre-Production for SNW S4. And S4 is actually filming right now.

Episode 10's title gives me an end of series vibe.
I hate to say it, but thanks to the strike and the long wait between seasons, it's seriously dampened my enthusiasm for the upcoming episodes. I might just wait until the first reviews are in to decide whether or not to reactivate my subscription to Paramount+.

So, I think I've figured out the reasoning behind why each poster has each particular character.More promotional material.
