Spoilers Skeleton Crew [Spoiler Discussion]

Is Jod the first person we've seen in canon that is a Force user, but is decidedly NOT a Jedi or Dark Side user? (I don't really count broom boy since was still young the only time we've seen him, and could possibly become a Jedi later on.) I mean, he's a pirate first, and just uses the Force as a tool. Seems like there should be a lot more people in that category, especially since the purge.

Wasn't that the case with General Grievous? Though I suppose he was someone who might have just been good using light sabers in fights.

Zero desire to see Jod outside of the context of this show.

I can't stand all the dumbass connections that Filoni and Favreau keep springing. It's hacky in the extreme. Let each show be its own thing.
Most of the shows have been in the same regions, dealing with the same groups, so it makes sense that they'd run into characters in those groups.
If you're doing a story set after the Return of the Jedi and you're dealing with Jedi you kind of have to have Luke show up at some point, and if you're dealing with the Mandalorians it makes sense we'd see B-Katan, ect.
There's consensus that Chirrut was a Force user? That surprises me. I thought it was so obviously what @Ithekro said!
I had assumed he had a connection to the Force, but it wasn't strong enough for him to actually be a Jedi.

Very true. Also most of Star Wars Canonical Timeline content focuses on a very short span of time in the larger Galactic History.

The vast majority of current canonical content starts from (36 BBY ► 40 ABY)
Most of the content takes place within 76 year time-span of the In-Universe story.

This was always my take, too. Not strong enough to be identified by the Jedi (he was certainly old enough to have been) but slightly more sensitive than the average being, possibly enhanced by his inability to see.

I'm starting to think I'm the only person who actually likes when shows and movies crossover. I really enjoyed Luke's appearances on The Mandalorian, and Leia was one of my favorite parts of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

I like that stuff as well. I feel it helps make the universe feel more real. That their is things going on out their besides what's happening with the main characters. But they do need to do it right. Luke showing up was great. On the other hand forcing young Leia into the Obi-Wan show didn't make sense and felt forced. Just to give one example.

At Attin is relatively close to Madalorian space. The pirate Vain was the survivor of the Children of the Watch's freeing of Navarro from pirates. The New Republic seems to have stepped up its anti-piracy forces in the region, after denying Adelphi Squadron from moving to help Navarro. So if Jod manages to escape from the New Republic, or conversely gets a second chance with the New Republic (like they do with ex-Imperials), we might see him again in the region that the bounty hunters Din are operating against Imperial holdouts.

Since finishing her training with Anakin's force ghost, Ahsoka seem more balanced and more willing to train Sabine as her padawan. She's Defacto a Jedi Knight now.

Note: The Council offered her knighthood after her trail (partly as an apology). She rejected in and walked away. Yoda did offer for her to come back, but she wasn't ready yet at the end of the Clone Wars. Her pain over Anakin kept her away, but Yoda was still willing to have her back even in the Dark Times. With her accepting what happened and having her training with Anakin...she's accepted who she is and what she is. She is a Jedi.
