I re-subscribed to Paramount+ because of Section 31 coming up. Since I have it again, I watched the last three episodes of Lower Decks' fifth season. I'd only watched the first two seasons before, and the one episode from the third season with DS9 in it. That's it.

Now I see what everyone was talking about with the crazy, wacky alternate realities. Too hyper for my tastes, but it was a fun ride, even though it felt like a bit of a sugar rush.

I'm glad they went through with making Garak and Bashir a couple, at least in whatever crazy reality that was. Nice to see the nod to the Disco Klingons. And it figures that the one Kim who gets promoted to Lieutenant turns evil-ish!

I'll catch the rest of the episodes while I still have my subscription. As I have time. The one in particular I'm looking out for is the episode with Voyager, since I recently finished a re-watch of it.

The Voyager episode was basically made for people who've recently finished a re-watch. Fortunately it aired about a month after I finished my own re-watch, so that worked out well for me!

Orada Mike McMahan, sezonun yazımının başlarında yazar grubuna, 'bu sezon muhtemelen son sezonumuz olacak, bu yüzden bazı planları erkenden geri çekmemiz gerekiyor' demiş. Anladığım kadarıyla Mike McMahan, dizinin iptal edilmeden önce iptal edilebileceği konusunda bilgilendirilmiş. İptal edildiğinde son 8 dakika eklenmiş. Keşke tüm bölümü yeniden yapıp 1 saatlik final bölümü yapsalardı.

Hello, my name is Oktay. I just joined here and watched the episode. I had to watch it pirated because Paramount Plus is not available in my country and there is no directory broadcaster. Although there is a penalty, it is not applied in my beautiful country.

Anyway, the episode was good, I know many of you want more, but in today's broadcasting age, 5 seasons is something and enough. The 100 episode thing that the producers said at the beginning is unrealistic. Because this series needs to last 10 seasons to produce 100 episodes. 10 seasons is not something that has been seen in the broadcasting age so far.

I wish they had said that season 5 would be the final season at the beginning. But while I was reading the comments about episode 9 before, someone shared an interview with the creators of the series. There, Mike McMahan said to the writing group at the beginning of the season, 'this season will probably be our last season, so we need to pull back some plans early.' As far as I understand, Mike McMahan was informed that the series could be canceled before it was canceled. When it was canceled, the last 8 minutes were added. I wish they had re-made the entire episode and made it a 1-hour final episode.

As for Brad Boimler x T'Lyn, I think it's more subtle, but a "Opposites Attract" and they can be good for each other since they have different personalities that can fit together like a puzzle.

Just did another rewatch of the finale. I think it's improving on subsequent viewings, which is always a good sign!

While I think season 3 had the best finale out of the run of the show, this one makes a valid claim for the second spot. Plus, it makes me wanna write more Star Trek on my own because I just can't give up living in this world. In my mind, there's no better accomplishment of anything I watch than that.

Not a huge fan of the whole "provisional first officers" thing, but otherwise I liked this ep.

Also, maybe this is just the OCD kickin' in but isn't this like the third different "Freedom class" that Starfleet has had? There's the Franklin (from STB), the one from TNG (the graveyard scene in BOBW) and now this. Starfleet must really like that name!

And I love how Ma'ah gets a real command. I like the guy.

Edit: This is definitely my favorite Ransom episode. He actually acts like a professional here. You can even hear the pain in his voice when that Klingon BOP turns into a sailing ship and its crew are ejected into space. And I love how he's strong enough to fight a Klingon.

I mean, he's no Rayner of course but he's alright.
