Can we just pretend this is what the K'vort class always looked like?
You mean you don’t like the jukebox bridge on Okuda’s version?

They didn't know the show was cancelled when they wrote this season so probably just a coincidence here. It’s interesting that every streamer-era series has ended laying possible seeds for future threads
Took me a second to realize what you were talking about as I had totally forgot about that thing....You mean you don’t like the jukebox bridge on Okuda’s version?![]()
Didn't they literally show footage from Unification and The Chase?
General reminder that there are alternate quantum realities where the only difference is that Worf came in at 9th place in a Bat'leth competition instead of being Champion. They've used footage from TNG as in-universe recordings, we've also seen props from previous series in a couple episodes.
Season 5 was literally a sequel to a TNG episode.
The people running the Trek franchise have never actually spoken up on the subject in any official capacity. And most of all, the people running the Trek franchise consider it to be part of the Main Timeline.
Talk about moving the goal post.General reminder that there are alternate quantum realities where the only difference is that Worf came in at 9th place in a Bat'leth competition instead of being Champion.
All those things mean is that it is a "close" universe.

The simplest answer would be the end or coda. Changing the end by promoting Ransom, reassigning Freeman, and making the dual first officers would not have required any other work or rewrite to the core story. They did get to add 8 minutes of footage apparently to the finale, but I don't think we know what was added yet.
I didn't ignore it, I pointed out those things didn't mean what you seem to think they did.Talk about moving the goal post.
Proof was provided. You choosing to ignore it has no actual bearing on the intent of those who produce the shows. Their intentions were clearly to show the connection between Discovery and the shows that preceded it.

Could be the rift closed naturally or was forced closed as a result of The Burn.there's no real excuse for Discovery other then Seasons 3-5 existing in an alternate timeline like was implied in this episode given the B plot in Season 4 was specifically about someone wanting to travel to an alternate universe and not being able to without insane amounts of power.
I wouldn’t mind a model of the single nacelle Freedom class Cerritos. HahaEaglemoss are long gone I’m afraid.
I have a whole dedicated thread about SB80.I always preferred Starbase 80 being a genuinely terrible place and not just a Cerritos-lite but it seems that ship has sailed.
With the new release of an official Cerritos model kit, I expect we'll see plenty of modelers making single nacelled versions of the ship, plus Miranda versions and Sovereign classes with Cerritos Nacelles.I wouldn’t mind a model of the single nacelle Freedom class Cerritos. Haha
