News Starfleet Academy Coming to P+

I kinda love Paul Wesley as Kirk, so I say the more the better.

I'm not huge on his Kirk. He's a fine actor, I just don't "buy" him as Kirk.

That said, I also don't mind if they did more Kirk... just... not on this show. I've accepted that TOS has been erased from the continuity at this point, so whatever just do a new TOS and call it a day.

Next old character that returns needs to be Doctor Boyce. Time to see him and Pike reunited and drinking a couple of martini's.

I kinda don't want it now. They dropped the ball in the most epic way by not having Jeffrey Combs on the show as Dr. Boyce. It was like, almost god damned fate but they just said... "nah". I DID want this, it made all the sense in the world, but now? Feel like they missed the boat.

At this point though, Boyce whatever. Sulu could make sense. I don't want to see McCoy or Chekov. McCoy should come along with Kirk, and Chekov should be young and not involved yet.

I guess i'd be fine with seeing McCoy in the context of not being Enterprise crew. He could be doing... something, I would just rather he not be on the Enterprise yet.

That was TMP's doing. Even Roddenberry pushed away from it.

"Erased" is a nonsensical term with fictional continuity. It can still exist, just not as strict literal history.

It's still there, they've just expanded and added to it. Nothing in SNW "erases" TOS.

Actually TOS is the only real version of the Trek universe. Everything else has been holodeck recreations. Did you think Picard not having a French accent was real? Total computer glitch in the program.
