Come on. I know you've watched Star Trek more than once. Why is Michael going on all these away missions? She’s the captain. She should be on the bridge.
I also laughed when Michael introduced the bridge crew to him. Like they will be important. They haven’t been before.![]()
Soooo.... I found this episode... tolerable.I have disliked every single Trill episode on Star Trek so far. Including all of them on DS9. Hell, even the first one on TNG.
The concept itself is great - Stargate basically just took it, combined with the conspiracy bugs, and created one of the best alien races in fiction, period! They did so many interesting, creative things with the concept and had so many interesting, unique characters.
But on Star Trek... everything Trill has been just grating to watch. Yes, even (especially) Jadzia everytime she goes into her background. So yeah. If I don't hate this episode, I will count that as a win...
Lol so defensive. It was a simple nitpick about costuming, not an indictment of the show as a whole.Boooo, zipper diversity in Discovery!? Worst show ever.![]()
The books have symbiotes getting too big to be implanted, and then the really big old ones live deep in the caves.
Prepare for revived Shatner Kirk! And at last they've explained the depth of this ancient tech. Machines that create life, or can give life back to the dead (massive foreshadowing there, I'm sure)
The best part was Tilly putting Raynar in his place.
Interesting, but I agreed with Tilly. That's the part of the episode I disliked most. Rayner was right.
I'll be happier once they stop collecting the pieces one by one next to dangerous encounters. It's old already.
That's not to say I didn't like other things about the episode. Just tired of the fetch quest.
Yes, he was right. An officer at his level should be leading indirectly, through lower officers and NCOs. Dealing with each crewman individually is wasteful. That's the part of the episode I disliked most. Rayner was right.
