I straight up don't know. I've had the same haircut for 25 years.
It may just become the next big haircut trend for men.![]()
Actually, yes. Or at least among teenagers. I was a teenager when Leonardo DiCaprio's popularity skyrocketed because of Titanic, a lot of guys at school had their hair done exactly like his. Likewise, I noticed many teenage guys with a similar hairstyle to Justin Bieber's back during the height of his popularity about a decade or so ago. Those are a thing?
Likewise. I started getting buzz cuts when I was six and continued to do so until my early twenties when I just started shaving my head completely bald.I've had the same haircut for 25 years.
I work with teens. This is not a thing they discuss.was a teenager when Leonardo DiCaprio's popularity skyrocketed because of Titanic, a lot of guys at school had their hair done exactly like his. Yeah, and my friends cared little about their hair. So, again, my pop culture awareness might be thin but I guess hair doesn't matter to me.Likewise. I started getting buzz cuts when I was six and continued to do so until my early twenties when I just started shaving my head completely bald.
It's hair.
Hair today, gone tomorrow.
With you. They don't trust you. In their world, trust is earned, if ever. Everyone else is just a squirrel, looking for a nut. Remember that...I work with teens. This is not a thing they discuss.
Funny guy. With you. They don't trust you. In their world, trust is earned, if ever. Everyone else is just a squirrel, looking for a nut. Remember that...
Then you don't know me or how I work with teens.I wasn't joking.
Are you a parent of a teen, or of one about to enter teenagerdom? Then you don't know me or how I work with teens.
I am a parent of two teens, work at a high school as a mental health counselor, learn very intimate secrets and and struggles and pain, as well as slang I don't know, current fashion trends, video games, and such. Building trust is foundational in my work. Are you a parent of a teen, or one about to enter teenagerdom?
That poor tribble,
Then you should know better.I am a parent of two teens, work at a high school as a mental health counselor...
That male hair is a common discussion topic? Then you should know better.
And there you go again with the "mental health" professional drum-banging. We discussed this before, remember? Maybe it's time for another one of those self-introspection sessions.
Because you ALSO once again planted that old "I'm a mental health counselor" flag in an effort to shore up your bona-fide's on how to deal with teens (as you have on many other topics in the past), until I've called you out on it, only to have you roll it back, responding, and I quote, "I'm not really a therapist, remember?" if that's true, then then stop acting like one and putting it forward as a shield to defend your position. Are you or aren't you? That male hair is a common discussion topic?
You asked if I worked with teens. I do. That's my answer. Not sure the issue here though.![]()
Dude, I don't know your issue with me but I simply commented on male hair trends. Not teens lying, not parenting advice, nor anything but my experience working with teens and not hearing about hair on males.Because you ALSO once again planted that old "I'm a mental health counselor" flag in an effort to shore up your bona-fide's on how to deal with teens (as you have on many other topics in the past), until I've called you out on it, only to have you roll it back, responding, and I quote, "I'm not really a therapist, remember?" if that's true, then then stop acting like one and putting it forward as a shield to defend your position.
And if you are a father of two teens, you should still know better that they are keeping things from you, no matter how serious or innocuous the subject matter may be. Any parent who thinks that a false statement is lying to themselves and anyone else to whom they try to convince otherwise.
I reread my comment. It was about hair.Mmm... and the rollback begins yet again. Rinse and repeat...
You're seeing something that isn't there.Mmm... and the rollback begins yet again. Rinse and repeat...
