Only just got a chance to watch the first two episodes and loved every minute. Juno Temple is the obvious highlight, going from wholesome but kooky housewife to runaway woman who doesn't bat an eye in defending herself at all costs, Rambo/MacGyver-style...while still kooky. I get her story and I love it, but there's definitely something off about her. I can't wait to dig more into her character.
I love how
Jennifer Jason Leigh's and Jon Hamm's characters are two sides of the same coin, both quietly raging about traditional values and truths, but achieving and thriving by very different means. I, too, look forward to their inevitable meeting. It will be
glorious.
On top of all of that, I love everything Dave Foley is doing as the eyepatch lawyer. He's smart and weird but also completely kowtowed to Leigh's character. Even if that's all to his character this season, I'll be thrilled.
Lastly, if Joe Keery doesn't get to wield the zombie killer, even for a moment, this season messed up.
