The first computer I ever saw was this bigass Wang machine my dad worked on. It must've been about 1974.

My Fortran courses were all on punch cards. I learnt the hard way to number each card after the rubber binder snapped on a nearly 200 card deck. The reject cards made for decent ashtrays in a pinch.
