I think the only thing that you'd really see is the Refit bridge getting new displays
I was talking about the exterior.
The interior would be entirely redesigned for a new show.

Keep in mind the SNW Enterprise was meant to establish a more smooth visual continuity to the TMP+ Enterprise and Enterprise-A

Because of the SFHQ holo?Given that we *know* that the TNG timeline and the SNW are the same (Thanks Picard S1)
That was a bit of a rabbit hole.NervousEnergy in the fan art subforum found this PDF

And I'd say they did a pretty good job. Makes the refit alot more believable.Keep in mind the SNW Enterprise was meant to establish a more smooth visual continuity to the TMP+ Enterprise and Enterprise-A
I mean..... technically, we do have this....Do you guys think the regular Klingon Bop existed at this time or was it a forerunner like on ENT?
DISCO?I mean..... technically, we do have this....![]()
I imagine the joint houses came up with a new design based upon various house ideas.I mean..... technically, we do have this....![]()
Yep. I'm somewhat of a defender of Discovery designs, but those Klingons ships..... yeesh.DISCO?
Cthulhu has spaceships now.Yep. I'm somewhat of a defender of Discovery designs, but those Klingons ships..... yeesh.
To each their own. I don't actively dislike the design, it's just...... different. Less a Bird of Prey and more a....Bat?Still one of my favorite Klingon designs.
Indeed. Very.... organic. Designed by the Klingon H.R. Giger.Cthulhu has spaceships now.
That's what the D7 was portrayed as in Season 2.I imagine the joint houses came up with a new design based upon various house ideas.
That might be as late as the 2380's though as the USS Rubidoux from lower decks definitely had one (yet the Cerritos did not so maybe its all just captain's preference?)Given that we *know* that the TNG timeline and the SNW are the same (Thanks Picard S1)..its pretty clear that at some point starfleet drifts away from the "window on the bridge" thing..even the Titan-A isn't really a window
And I'd say they did a pretty good job. Makes the refit alot more believable.
And in resizing the refit, what would you really need to change from what had been previously somewhat established? Just say the windows and airlock are a little bit bigger and you're done.![]()
