Well, Picard made a pile of rocks and put Kirk's badge on it. We never actually saw his body under the rocks:whistle:

If they want more James T.Kirk they're gonna find ways to get more James T. Kirk.

Or it was just something the artist threw in not realizing the camera would get close enough to read.
Though that wouldn't explain TOS life support noises.

Anything that shows up on screen is going to be read. Everyone knows that now. And as the person who posted it pointed out, those two lines are purposefully added to a previously existing entry from the Star Trek Encyclopedia. If it wasn't meant to be there, they wouldn't have added the lines.

Spoiler alert: they did...

This is more than true. If the past 5 years have taught me anything is that finding little details to dissect to the point of meaninglessness is par for the course in online fandom.

Yuuuup.

Whether not anything comes of it, but they purposely put in a way to resurrect Kirk in this episode and return him to the franchise in the 25+ century

Before the end of this, I want to see the Enterprise-A, Enterprise-D, Defiant, and Voyager all in one shot. All four of the major '80s/'90s Star Trek ships, if they have to rely on off-network starships.

One of Nemesis's many crimes was that the Intrepid NCC-75600 and Galaxy NCC-70637 were clearly visible on screen as being scheduled to rendezvous with the Enterprise-D before it got ambushed by the Scimitar in the Bassen Rift. The movie deliberately deprived us of seeing a Sovereign-class ship fighting alongside a Galaxy-class and an Intrepid-class. RUDE.

There was also a U.S.S. Archer in that rendezvous task force, the first onscreen reference to the Prequel series then still on the air. The 40000-range registry for that ship has led some to conjecture that this Starship Archer was an Excelsior-class vessel.

I scanned but didn't see this posted. Someone managed to get the text from Kirk's display.

His body was taken as part of "Project Pheonix" after being "critically injured" during the events of Generations, not killed. So, yeah, opening the door for his return.

So something that has irritated me this season and with other seasons of Nu Trek: Why do they wait until Monday or Tuesday to release the next episode trailer these days instead of immediately after the episode ends? I doubt that its a spoiler issue, so what is the real reasoning to hold the Next Episode trailers? They used to play them immediately after an end of Classic Era Trek, especially the Ernie Anderson trailers.
I’m just glad they don’t play before the ending titles anymore, that was really annoying.

budget didn’t permit unfortunately: a Starfleet battle group was in the original script.

The life support/ biobed noises is the one thing that keeps me hung up on this. Like..you could easily have just had a soft humming or such..but that is a *really* distinct noise.

IDK maybe a red herring, which is fine, but this is a remarkably specific red herring then.

Was the whistle always a pulse sound? I thought the deep bass was the pulse, and we didn't hear that one.

Why would Picard take Kirk's badge to put on a pile of rocks, while leaving his body behind?
