There's been conflicting evidence throughout the years that there is some form of money, especially for the UFP to deal with species that use conventional money.

Not to be nitpicky but I wanted a better angle of the Enterprise A. It's my fav ship and the rear end high angle view underwhelmed a bit.

I also do not think Kirk's body is a hint at him returning in this season, just a way to set precedent for Picard's body to be stolen, make it less random that it would be there.

Also I think there's more to Jack's visions than just the Iromodic Syndrome, I don't think tumours turn you into the terminator, precisely executing people like a machine.

I think "critically injured" is a euphemism here, perhaps to justify going back and digging up his body for purposes of mad science.

I was about to reference that earlier. Phlox's pet bat? Although that had an in-universe name. A Pyrithean bat.

Nope, Phlox's bat looks like pretty much an Earth bat. This creature's body (follow the link to see it in an animation in the original Facebook post) has a shape more like a pudgy bird. A kiwi or one of those small dinosaurs. Actually, the head in particular makes me think of a creature from one of the Myst games, of all things. Does Doug Drexler like Myst? Or dinosaurs?
