Has anyone noticed this season has been aggressively avoiding larger more important plots like the Pakleds?
They’re doing character based arcs, like Mariner having to prove herself to Ransom and Bold Boimler.Has anyone noticed this season has been aggressively avoiding larger more important plots like the Pakleds?
Shaxs and Kira being old friends who squabble over who owes who the most favors was a pleasant surprise but on the other hand not surprising at all.
I felt like this was a REALLY appropriate way to personally connect legacy characters to LD characters. This felt really organic and so heartwarming.
Or he didn't use the teeth <-- That prosthetic would affect the sound of the voice.I could definitely hear bits of Nana's voice in Kyra. Quark's voice was the most off to me. Maybe Armin just forgot how to do Quark's voice or maybe the dialogue was off?
The shot at the end about the Federation not using money and the face of that Ferengi alone would have made me give it a high score, but the whole episode was wonderful.Or he didn't use the teeth <-- That prosthetic would affect the sound of the voice.
A 9.
I liked that they got two DS9 actors to reprise their roles here.
Tendi the 'real' pirate was fun.
Boimler being seen as a sex pot by nearly every female except Mariner is getting old; but him being a Dabo master was funny.
Mariner having something on Quark was funny too.

if Dax, Miles and Julian are still on the station.
Perhaps they can use them if they want? Tendi had some sort of partial mind control abilities when visiting the pirate outpost last season…Not every female Orion has pheromones to control men. Not sure how that works, is it a genetic ability, genetically engineered ability, or technology enhanced to have special pheromones?
I think the actual quote was “some orions”!That naive Orion. Doesn’t he know that the majority of Orions haven’t been pirates for nearly 7 years now?![]()
probably but not necessarily: I know that in the books the Bajoran militias was integrated in Starfleet, but I always found that odd and uncalled for. Speaking of that, wasn’t Kira a Starfleet Commander by the end of the series? I guess she resigned a position she never really wanted, accepted for political reasons, and went back to the militia.Awww, so Bajor didn't join the Federation?
