This was a lot of fun! Oh, the callbacks to DS9, the beauty shots around the station as they kept orbiting and Ransom's like "just keep going," and seeing Quark, Kira, and the promenade, it was all fantastic, and I loved it. What a wonderful love letter to Niners everywhere.

Also, I loved it when Jennifer kissed Mariner. So cute!

Was kind of hoping the Klingon chef with the accordion would show up, but probably better that we didn't see him. He probably would have left the station when the Klingon conflict began in season 4.

I could definitely hear bits of Nana's voice in Kyra. Quark's voice was the most off to me. Maybe Armin just forgot how to do Quark's voice or maybe the dialogue was off?
Or he didn't use the teeth <-- That prosthetic would affect the sound of the voice.

A 9.

I liked that they got two DS9 actors to reprise their roles here.

Tendi the 'real' pirate was fun.

Boimler being seen as a sex pot by nearly every female except Mariner is getting old; but him being a Dabo master was funny.

Mariner having something on Quark was funny too.

The shot at the end about the Federation not using money and the face of that Ferengi alone would have made me give it a high score, but the whole episode was wonderful.

Also, yeah, I think Armin was doing the part without the teeth. He sounded more like what I've heard when he's not in costume.

As a Lower Deck episode it was par for the course, all the usual's clicked as usual. But as a very special episode featuring a return to DS9. Nope, not imo.

I did like Kira wistfully gazing towards the wormhole but that was about it for their return for me.

And we are at DS9 and I’m not disappointed!
Splendid episode, giving it a 9.
Mariner’s plot was funny if over the top, I totally loved the Orion side (that Orion had something odd from the start!) and of course the whole DS9 thing.

So, Kira is still commander of the station and still a colonel, no promotion in almost ten years? Also, I feel that giving 75% of the franchise to the Karemma was a bit too much…
Great seeing Morn, Quark’s wouldn’t be Quark’s without him!
Boimler is full of surprises, he unexpectedly wins big at Dabo (and throws all away for a coupon that will undoubtedly expire pretty soon!) and seems he’s wanted by the ship’s girls as well, it doesn’t happen only at the farm!

Interesting omissions: I almost expected the final tractor beam to come from the Defiant. And of course we don’t know where the other DS9 characters are (apart from Sisko, who’s still in the wormhole, and Worf, who will show up next year). I wonder if Odo is still in the great link and if Dax, Miles and Julian are still on the station.
I guess that Garak still is, as the shop is still open.

By the way, the turning around the station with the DS9 music was awesome and fun. I wish they had foregone the usual titles for a version with the DS9 theme.

Oh, and Tendi’a martial prowess in season 1 is now totally justified. Nice!

Not every female Orion has pheromones to control men. Not sure how that works, is it a genetic ability, genetically engineered ability, or technology enhanced to have special pheromones?
Perhaps they can use them if they want? Tendi had some sort of partial mind control abilities when visiting the pirate outpost last season…
That naive Orion. Doesn’t he know that the majority of Orions haven’t been pirates for nearly 7 years now? :)
I think the actual quote was “some orions”!
Awww, so Bajor didn't join the Federation?
probably but not necessarily: I know that in the books the Bajoran militias was integrated in Starfleet, but I always found that odd and uncalled for. Speaking of that, wasn’t Kira a Starfleet Commander by the end of the series? I guess she resigned a position she never really wanted, accepted for political reasons, and went back to the militia.
