We demand that they have actor James Hong in this series as a guest. He auditioned for Sulu the same day as Takei and he is now 93 years old. He got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today -- the oldest person so honored. He still acts and has a staggering 453 acting credits and he never got even a guest shot on any Trek show?? His first acting job in Hollywood was in 1954. I'm not Asian but the fact that He and the late James Shigeta never have appeared on Trek is a crime.

As for Quinto vs. Peck - I really liked Quinto's Spock (minus being a tad overemotional) but I also like Peck too. YMMV.

It makes character sense coming from Spock, who gave up family to serve.
