I'm supposing that they surely summoned their senses to surmise,
that the surnames were sufficiently succinct.

A series named Picard and not even a single person from Picardie, let alone any scenes in Amiens?

    La ignominie!

I actually felt bad for Agent Wells. He didn't deserve to be fired. He's a good man, it wasn't his fault the Vulcan expedition damn near ruined his life.

At least he got the answers he was looking for.

And who knows, maybe he can parlay his experience into a second career. Best-selling sci-fi author, maybe?

Also I'm curious as to how Q got into the interview room. I mean, obviously he was answering Guinan's summons, but how and why did the FBI let him in? Did he have forged credentials or something? (He was wearing an FBI jacket...)

And I hope Kore manages to reconcile with her father. Yes, Adam Soong still is her father. Doesn't matter whether she was created in a petri dish or a woman's womb, a daughter is a daughter. Adam obviously loves her (otherwise he wouldn't have let Q so easily manipulate him), he's just too proud to admit it.

I think they made it pretty clear that he thinks of himself as her God-creator, he is not her father in any meaningful sense. He 'loves' her as his life's work.

Picard reassuring Agent Wells that the Vulcans weren't the monsters he remembered, and the sharing of his own truth, is the embodiment of compassion. And I can't wait to see how Jean-Luc extends that same quality to the dying Q. Absolutely beautiful...

The fictional Starfleet seems satisfied with her performance.

She also may well have an alien metabolism powering her.

Must be some young person slang for a negative person.
Yes, and the long line of admirals gone bad proves this is a good system, above reproach.

These people only exist in a wrinkle of time, that is going to be straightened out by Piocard's mission to get Rene on course.

Picard is going to murder all of them.

The well being of the mind of a 60 year year old may about whether he was probed by aliens on a scout trip or whether it was a repressed memory about his scoutmaster probing him is beside the point because PIcard is murdering Wells and his entire family in the next couple days.

    His feelings don't matter.

As soon as Picard admitted that he was a time traveler, Wells should have shot Picard.

Probably fake credentials. Or maybe he still has some psychic abilities? He also was able to pose as Renee Picard's therapist.

Really I wish the show wasn't so plot driven then we'd get to see things like Q working on a computer somewhere or getting around the city via car service or something.

Also, I think a waitress interrupting Q and Soong's chat in the coffee shop would've been cool and added some tension. Looked like Q was drinking something. Or at least bought something to be allowed to stay and wait.

Little things besides his outburst to Picard and inability to influence Renee with his usual finger snap would add needed depth to our understanding of his frustration at losing himself.

It's actually really weird slang that denotes folks who use ass-backward compliments toward women in a disgusting attempt to get a date or at the very least their admiration.

    A crude example would be...
"You're really pretty for a fat girl"
