"Only three people in the past hundred years have had the privilege to sit in the Captain's chair of a ship named Enterprise. You and I are two of them, Chris."
And to keep the Smallville tradition going they should get John Schneider to play Robert April
Pike "Well there was that time you lost the ship to an Orion trader during a drunken poker game. What was that guy's name? He was technically captain for....""Only three people in the past hundred years have had the privilege to sit in the Captain's chair of a ship named Enterprise. You and I are two of them, Chris."
And maybe let us know what the hell a Fleet Captain does!!!!!
I remember the tie-in comic for Into Darkness, they made April a rogue captain who turned over command of the Enterprise (a previous one before the one we see in the '09 film) to alexander marcus and faked his own death and basically was arming a variant of the alien race that lived on the planet.Pike grew up on a different planet in the novels I recall.
It is amazing how little has been done in April. I think there are only a handful of novels that feature him in it and one fan movie.
How so? They match the beds from TOS. Heck they have the same shiny blanketsThose cots look pretty inappropriate to a 23rd century ship TBH.
