I’m generally very excited for the series, and the inclusion of a Khan relative is the one thing that really gives me pause.
I’m curious to see how they use the character, and how her story unfolds, but it’s with caution, and a generally weary attitude, with the way so many untold chapters and prequels mire a storyline or mythos with unnecessary interconnectedness and an almost incestuous need to reference the most often recalled elements of a franchise.

I can understand that. The execution will be critical to me because very little grace will be given.I’m not quite there yet with the first season, but I’m getting the feeling, knowing Kirk will be around already in S02, that I’ll end up at that point eventually myself.
