The timeline doesn't change till the 15th.

It's still the Prime Timeline till then.

That’s arguable, they’re already in Confederation bodies, with a Stargazer from the altered future, indicating that the effects of the change are already felt in the future, and that would directly impact any time travel stories to Earth’s past.

Will someone help me out with that last scene, though? I didn't understand what was up with Q and that gal - was I not supposed to?

I don't know who the Watcher is but I hope the revelation is satisfying.

My biggest hope is that Ducane is Ducane. It would be a shame if you can bring back another legacy actor without also reviving their character. "Relativity" is among my Top 10 fav Trek eps ever.

There will be no Sisko, unless someone can convince Avery Brooks to do something he doesn't want to do... and I don't think anybody could persuade Avery Brooks to do something he doesn't want to do.
Perhaps it's time to rescast Sisko? Then the character can reappear across media, like eps and video games (STO).

But the "thing" that creates the future Confederation doesn't happen until the 15th.
So everything before that should still be the normal part of the Prime Timeline.

Don't forget that this timeline is leading up to WW-3, perhaps what ever changes on the 15th prevents the war from happening.

Obviously, the Europa Mission is somehow involved, it's success or failure could be the catalyst that causes or prevents WW-3.

It sounds very similar to the event that Gary-7 was here to fix back in the 60's.
Even Guinan's description of the Supervisors that sent him sound similar.

'Supervisors' are back lmao! Complete with the purple door teleporter like Gary Seven had in his safe.

Not sure why Guinan would recognize Picard in this timeline. I doubt there even was a Data aboard the World Razer.
Enterprise with its borg leftover from first contact episode is still officially the prequel to the kelvin timeline where first contact movie didn't happen

Kelvin timeline started when Nero went back in time.

It isn’t that simple, because if that were the case then Picard and co. wouldn’t/couldn’t be from the altered future, because the future hasn’t been altered yet. Their current forms/the Confederacy’s Stargazer crew and La Sirena, and their experiences escaping the changed future have already disproved the idea that the Prime Timeline is in any way intact. It takes for granted that future events would have to taken place the way they do in the prime timeline in terms of their interactions in the past through time travel in order for the backstory prior to 2024 to remain exactly the same.

‪‪I think the change is already a forgone conclusion without Picard and the crew’s interference, or there would have been no grim future for them to prevent from happening to begin with.
