Yep that was my biggest complaint too. I could even take the split slit down the middle; but swept-back like the TMP nacelles was a bit too much for me.straight pylons are all I want.

You forgot Part 6:
How Kathleen Kennedy factors into all of this.
She inspires Youtubers to call it She Trek: Woke New Worlds. Which makes them tons of green gold. Which then makes me wonder why are we are not all on Youtube cashing in on the outrage. If we can come up with this stuff on a fly why are we not rolling around naked on beds of freely departed incel money!
I used to fall for that stuff all the time as a an egde lord 18 year-old. Midnights' Edge being one of the worst of these crazy youtube channels. GO WOKE GO BROKE!The SNW Jeffries Tube and Canon, a Rant in Five Parts.
Part 1: A History of Jeffries Tubes
Part 2: A Summary of how I became a Fan
Part 3: Canon
Part 4: Opinion on the new Jeffries Tube
Part 5: Declaration SNW is cancelled and Kurtzman fired.
And with that, all that's left is to hate watch.

Actress Christina Chong posted a picture on Twitter that shows the new Jeffries Tube, which looks damn near close to the original.

EDIT: Oops see I'm a little late to the party with this.
Yeah, I'm excited to see the TOS aesthetic with a modern TV budget. Not necessarily an exact replica, but something that evokes it. Much like how I felt the Kelvin movies did a good job evoking Matt Jeffries.
ENT did this very well making somthing that feels older then tos but with a modern designYou described it exactly. I don't want the interior of the Enterprise to look EXACTLY as it appeared in the 1960s, but, be modernized, yet evoke the original. I thought they did that perfectly with the bridge on Discovery.
Ehhhh, the NX-01 bridge is already very dated, due to their use of off-the-shelf LCD monitors with stovetop pads stuck on for buttons. Flatscreens have come a LONG way since 2001.ENT did this very well making somthing that feels older then tos but with a modern design
not as dated as star trek Vs obvious crt monitors ouchEhhhh, the NX-01 bridge is already very dated, due to their use of off-the-shelf LCD monitors with stovetop pads stuck on for buttons. Flatscreens have come a LONG way since 2001.
