Season 5 confirmed! I can’t wait! I look forward to seeing more of the 32nd Century, and continuing to follow Burnham and the crew’s adventures.
How dare they!? Don't they know that top men have declared it an unsuccessful money laundering scheme?
Great news! And it’s going to be 10 episodes. The reductuon in episodes to match the other series is not surprising. I actually expected it to happen earlier with 3rd or 4th seasons. But the detractors ptobably see it as the first step toward cancellation, especially since the 6th season hasn’t been announced yet.
What's worst is now CBS has legal authority due to the show reaching a year 5 of coming to our houses and forcing us at gun point to watch the episodes! People need to really start reading the terms of agreement before signing onto things like Paramount Plus!
Season 5 - The Federation finds itself under threat from a mysterious _____________________ Any takers?
10 episodes? If my calculations are correct, that would translate into Kurtzman being fired about 47 times, give or take a termination by mutual consent or two.
Some high-quality conversation is going on here. https://www.trekbbs.com/rules/#post-11662568 Rules for me and not for thee.
It's been 5 years since Burnham was elected President of the Galaxy. Peace in the Galaxy has taken over like never before in space history. That's about to change when Humans. The only species that has rejected peace has decided to take back the Federation and guess who is back. Earth King Lorca.
The only reason why I thought Discovery would be done after Season 4 was just the amount of Trek that was being planned now. I mean there are currently 5 shows that are (or will be ready to) airing this year with a few more in development. However, with that said, the Zora plotline has actually changed my opinion on Season 4 somewhat to the point where being cautiously pessimistic has turned into being cautiously optimistic for the Future of this series. If they keep up the quality of the last two episodes (And Season 2, which before Control became the main villain was probably my favorite season), then the future for the series is looking bright.
