Excellent episode again. Great idea for the episode. Brings all the elements of Trek together like a five star meal. They used elements of Star Trek as part of the episode rather than making it a one line gag. I really hope the show continues in this tradition because they did it so well.

Spock did it in JJ Trek 1, and, see my screen name/av.

When Quinto did it I was always reminded of the line from the Fog where Janet Leigh says to her assistant. "You're the only person who can make 'yes ma'am' sound like screw you."

Borg Cube Lower Decks literally had me laughing uncontrollably.

ditto, I genuinely roared!

A really enjoyable episode, the battle at the end was genuinely tense (great music) even though it was fairly obvious what was going to happen.

Chalk me up as someone else who thinks Ransom was clearly being nice to Boimler at the end by sending that cadet his way.

I had assumed Cerritos was a fairly tiny ship to explain why the lower decks crew were all sleeping in the hallways. Rank having privileges, they keep a few rooms open for promotions, and some for guests.

On Enterprise they gave Amanda Rogers her own quarters and she wasn't even a graduate.

I gave this episode a 7. I see many people here loved it, but it did not hit the spot for me some reason. I guess I was expecting more akin to the previous 3 episodes, which I totally loved. I appreciate what this episode was trying to do, I just couldn't grasp it. Maybe it just needs another view with different expectations in order for the episode to click.

Anyway, I like how they have been developing the characters, and this time it was done very well indeed. We now know how Pakleds got powerful, and hopefully see the end to this story in the season finale. I'm hoping to see an epic episode.

I believe in some interview, with Quinto (i think) he says the way he delivered the line was basically "go **** yourselves".

That was another very good episode.

The Klingon LD sleep in hammocks in the hallway, similar to the SF bunks
Some Klingon words with bad pronunciation: bIHnuchs (written, "them cowards") or bIHnaH (spoken, "them fruits"); lurDech (written, "tradition") or lurDeS (spoken, "pupil arm")
The Vulcan was funny: I wanted to-- ...it is logical to...
Shax's clay sculpture is quite... a nod to Ghost XD
Does that Benzite have a moustache? XD
Klingon blood is reddish-pink! :D
Pakled are from Pakled Planet and their clumpship is the Pakled. How was the Mondor named? XD
The bomb stopped working after using it once XD
The Vulcan ship has both a ring and 2 nacelles
I need a ringtone that goes "Red alarm..." XD
Borg LD of course just regenerate XD

On the Klingon hammocks, someone pointed out that - by human standards - that DOES mean the Klingon Lower Deckers have it better since officers sleep on hard metal bunks (as per TNG Unification. Klingons probably see offering comfy hammocks to their lower ranks as a negative the same way we see giving Mariner et al. their hallway bunk beds.

I thought it was odd for the new Klingon captain to choose to just leave the scene. You'd think that taking some responsibility for the situation they'd created would be the more honorable thing to do.

Does that scale with the 3 deck thick saucer rim?
I'm going by the MSD, which was featured prominently in the first episode.

Any episode with Rutherford being adorably Rutherford (his "Ooh, a puppy!" in response to Shax making a cute little ashtray that's going to look like a puppy :adore::adore::adore:) ought to warrant an automatic 10, but this episode as a whole definitely gets a 10 from me!

Who else wants a Spinn-off about the Borg Lower Deckers? They were such fascinating characters!

Also I have noticed Lower Decks is at it's best when it really plays with the formula, like this episode and the "Trial" episode last year.
