I feel like they were one word away from that ship name joke being even better. "Welcome to the Pakled ship Pakled Ship"

I also particularly loved the long-suffering "Yes Rebner, we've met several times" from the Klingon captain right after. :bolian:

God this show is amazing. They have gotten more drama, more exciting space battles, more surprising twists, and more suspense out of an arc with PAKLEDS than any season of Disco and Picard have managed to achieve with any of their outlandishly huge kill-all-sentient-life-in-the-galaxy antagonists.

And these are all secondary achievements on Lower Decks -- primarily, they've been making the Pakleds story funny!

It's becoming increasingly embarrassing for live action streaming Trek that, with massively greater amounts of screentime (and presumably a lot more money), they still cannot achieve 10% of what LD does.

Here's the Cerritos at her official size. Surely they'd have space to give all crew proper quarters, rather than having Lower Decks sleep in a hallway? Or maybe she's got lots of unseen empty volume inside like the rear of the Enterprise saucer in Star Trek Beyond, or the hollow USS Discovery.

You nailed it. There is no room for the Lower Deckers to have quarters because they need all that empty, unused space outside the turbolifts for flashy fight scenes.

PRIORITIES

Maybe they could use Shari yn Yem's holo training pods as quarters. They're not much larger than a bunk, but everyone could experience their own holopod as a mansion more palatial than Chateau Picard.

They needed that space for Catacean Ops. And all the other Ops Mariner points out in the first episode ;)

I would imagine the space is utilize for raw storage, industrial replicators and other equipment utilized for following up in second contact type missions to support growing civilizations. I don't see how the bunks are an issue?

Oh and they said "Vulcan High Command" because nobody remembers that 3-part ENT episode that ended in it being disbanded.
They probably just reconstituted the High Command at some point after ENT.
The Vulcan High Command was re-established by the beginning of Discovery.
An assimilated Vulcan in Voyager also said they worked for the Vulcan High Command. I doubt they were assimilated in the 22nd Century. It's possible, but unlikely.

So it's probably Enterprise making the continuity error here, not the other shows heh.

They managed to make a more interesting character in T’Lin in 20 minutes than Discovery and Picard have done in their whole seasons

I wonder how those sizes will hold up?

This episode's portrayal of the Vulcans (which was quite good) reinforces my view that IDIC doesn't apply to Vulcans among themselves, it's their mantra for keeping sane in dealing with the rest of the universe.

A perhaps more cynical interpretation from this religious person is, "Vulcans follow Surak about as well as my areas fundamentalists follow Christ. Loudly and with great hypocrisy."

Alternatively: Klingons and Khaless.
