I don't know if it's worse when they try to be subtle or when they give it up completely and decide to go full-on explicit.
Meh. It’s true enough, and it still used Tasha’s background well. Blatant? Yeah. At least it was talking about fictional groups rather than tying it to specific real world cultures. Plus Trek was actually family viewing back then. Not so much these days, mores the pity. Would be nice if SNW could get back to that actually.



. With all the alternatives there are today, it's simply harder for kids to find something to watch with their parents. And I can also understand that sometimes it can be difficult for writers to create something of quality that is appealing to every age group on a TV show (obviously for a movie it's easier).
