I'm serious I loved the engine room in ST'09/ID. If they went with a similar look I'd be happy.

I have had my hopes up, then disappointed too many times with Trek since 09. But they are up again. To paraphrase a certain Scottish engineer, "Fool me twice-twice, shame on me."

*Math explanation: I had no expectations for "Beyond," and it was ok. 09 was ok, I guess, too, but I wanted different.

"I want" is at the root of most of our unhappiness, it seems.

I preferred the National Ignition Facility version from STID, but I'm guessing there aren't many locations like that around Toronto. But if they built something similar to the impulse control room from Beyond I'd be happy.

Closest they've got in Greater Toronto-Hamilton would be the Darlington Nuclear Plant. Guessing they won't want to impose themselves there for assorted reasons.

(Or they could make a field trip to the Canadian Light Source under Saskatoon.)

There are assorted breweries across the GTHA, large, medium and small. :-)

Would love to see a few of those. If Defiant 1764 is already in service as of Pike's time, I don't see a problem with Mirandas wandering in and out of frame.

So I see they had the writers of Discovery and Picard accompanying Spock up the mountain...

They fixed Spock's hairline, thank goodness. I suspected doing it "wrong" in the short Trek was deliberate (since it was correct in the S2 finale), but I wasn't sure.

I'm looking forward to Science Officer Snooki. Beavis and Butthead though.. total Xons. They'll never make the cut.

I didn't see Burnham, I am sure doomcock will have a video out soon claiming this is proof Discovery has been cancelled.

    Or Burnham IS the mountain.

I can't wait for their first reuse of a Discovery season 3 era costume, prop or ship in SNW.

Personally the Enterprise Disco S2 uniforms are already some of my favorite uniforms in all of Trek. I wouldn't mind them adjusting the collars but otherwise I love them.
