When 9/11 happened, many people were initially sure it has to be a movieWhat's going on in the world right now would never fly in a movie. They'd say it's too unbelievable.

Well, you and everyone else in the Zoom Sessions know what I think about what's going on right now. When 9/11 happened, many people were initially sure it has to be a movie
I was upset to see Osyraa die (of course being the future who knows what kind of technology possibly duplicate/subspace memory transfer may exist) but I don't really like how everything had to be tied up just because of the end of season.
For most of the season I kind of viewed her as more or less a generic villain... But the negotiating with Vance actually showed a different side of her and I thought we might actually see character development as the show progressed and a more nuanced foil. I guess hoping to see a multi-seasonal development like Dukat or Damar was expecting way too much for Discovery though.

Maybe she has a sister.
Mmhhh...hey look, TOS music! One more problem with the ending that has occurred to me.
They are going to report to the galaxy that they found the cause of the burn, and that it's not repeatable.
But that's not true. The *agent* of the Burn is not repeatable. But they reported that all you have to do to blow up all the dilithium in the galaxy is find its resonant frequency and amplify it into subspace. And now a lot of people are going to know that. And they are distributing dilithium to every planet they want to rejoin the Federation.
yes, but only affects ships with an active warp core. Have your ships power down the core, do Burn 2.0 and you have a fleet, the others don’t.Also, from what we've seen, the Burn was omnidirectional, so any enemy who tried this would have to not be dependent on dilithium themselves.
When you are a stars your music can become hits even when they blow.A distress signal, modulated by a star, which became a hit in several cultures. One of the strangest elements of this season
Thought the same. Reality needs better writers. What's going on in the world right now would never fly in a movie. They'd say it's too unbelievable.
or a sinth. Would explain the plastic.Or a clone.

I think the fourth season of DSC can go somewhere with the topic of Domestic Terror. In fact, I'd like if the next enemy, if not the Emerald Chain, would be some segment of the rest of the 90% of the Federation that Starfleet Command has lost communication with. Not all 90%, naturally, but some part of it. The enemy isn't out there, but right here.
Yeah we all know what the actual reason is. 'Because it's a TV show' is the actual reason for every question, but it makes for a poor Star Trek discussion board doesn't it?Of course, I imagine the real out-of-show reason is that the actress who plays Tilly is in the opening credits, and it wouldn't make much sense to give a background actor such a dominant role.
Your right. That little Kelpian is the 32nd century atom bombyes, but only affects ships with an active warp core. Have your ships power down the core, do Burn 2.0 and you have a fleet, the others don’t.

That kind of Trump style storytelling „because I said so“ over on screen logic and facts is the one constant through all three seasons.
I'm looking forward to Season 4 now that we've got a pretty clean slate
Maybe she has a sister.
That's just WickedNo, Dorothy's house fell on her.
