Spoilers 31st/32nd Century Ships Revealed

Considering the focus they put on Voyager, I wonder if it will show up in a later episode.

Wrong century. The Enterprise-J is from the 26th century, so by now it would be a different letter.

It certainly will be interesting to learn what became of the Enterprise line of ships.

Realistically would there even be an Enterprise at this point? If most of the fleet went boom a 100ish years ago, would they have the resources to build a new ship? Sure they could rename a different ship, but would people even care about that when the focus is simply damage control and trying to manage with what little they have left? The impression I got from this episode was what ships they had were being used to power the base.

I can't see them not having an Enterprise. It will probably be some flashy thing, like the first ship launched/built after they reunite the Federation.

I'm betting the previous one was destroyed during the Burn.

I wonder if this is the rear of Voy-J

They talk a bit about Voy-J in Ready Room but don't show any extra shots of it.

Enterprise? Probably at "-K" or "-L" by that point.
Unless the ships are living longer between letters (which is possible), I think it would be more than that.

As for reusing class names...is there a precedent for that? I remember the Franklin’s original class was supposed to be “Freedom” which conflicted with the 24th century Freedom class, but that was changed before the movie came out.
Yeah, but it was changed to "Starship Class" which doubles up with the plaque on the 1701 Enterprise. So either way there is a duplicate. I know the whole "Starship Class" thing is a bit muddled, but there we are. :)

Not surprised there wasn’t an Enterprise shown...yet. I bet we do see one before the end of the season, maybe the Enterprise-P.

Wonder which letter the Enterprise is at. If Voyager is J then Enterprise must be around N,O or P by this stage.

Once this season is over, Eaglemoss really needs to do a 32nd century tech manual with all these new designs.
I believe that would be the plan. They have the CGI models.

About the Franklin, it still belonged to the Freedom-class. The biographical file on her captain mentioned the class name.

About the highest registry number, we still do not have the full registry for the ship with the registry NCC-4774xx. We see this number again on Burnham's holographic noteboard, however, it is largely illegible. This could be the highest number.

Any letter other than this, please. Imagine the P "jokes" by the gatekeepers. Actually, better you don't.

Perhaps after reaching NCC-999999, Starfleet counting started over but not strictly sequential, which is why we have NCV and NCC. Already in TNG, we have wildly differing ranges of numbered - NCC-42 to NCC-80XXX.
NCC 42 is an Easter Egg according to Memory Alpha. U.S.S. Heart of Gold captained by Douglas Adams on a mission to help an Arthur Dent

...Although odds aren't infinitely against it existing. I mean, if I were working in an organization called Starfleet, and had the power over deciding what to call my NCC-42, I wouldn't hesitate. And people right after the Romulan War might be prone to some well-earned levity.

Having it remain in service after all the centuries in turn has lost of historical precedent. For a certain value of "service" at any rate. And I can so see the above being the placeholder mission status for all those centuries.
