It's from Wil Wheaton's Ready Room. The video is still there for me. It shows the ships, then shows them all exploding.

EDIT: Or at least the dilithium supply dried up 700 years later. The Burn happened sometime after that.

Maybe it's just the quality of the picture, but some of these ships almost look like they're painted into the scene, not actual 3D models.

Some of those starships remind me of the commonwealth starships on Andromedia. I'm thinking that all of those starships are base off of early models, either fan design or none fans designs. Some of them are base off of other star trek series starships.

Awesome, their kind-of-organic curvy lines are reminding me a bit of the shiny-chrome Naboo ships from the Phantom Menace... almost like elegant vessels for a more civilized age compared to the used future frontier we've seen so far. I'm digging them.

I doubt the kaboom scene is supposed to depict any real event at any specific spot of space. It's just visualese for "and then they all exploded at once".

I'd like to see more of that Vertical starship. About time Starfleet made a ship like that!
