The Sehlat was established in "Journey to Babel".
Sorry, clarification: The appearance of the sehlat. The design in Enterprise was modeled after the TAS appearance.

But thanks for pointing it out. I've edited the original post since the way I initially phrased it was definitely inaccurate.

I think we need to get over the Baku thing. It’s one place from one movie, and there are trillions or quadrillions of people in the galaxy who get sick or old or die: they’re not all going to just pack up and go there, deus ex machina. Point is, the kid was sick and modern medicine nor a gated community could save him. That’s the metaphor the planet represented, I think.

All they had to was not release Nemesis at the same time as the other major blockbuster, Maid in Manhattan. You just do not go against JLo if you want to succeed. :D
So JL lost to JLo?

I am most curious as to why Deanna and Will's daughter has blonde hair when they both have darker hair
My brother and sister are blondes. My parents are brunettes. It happens.

Any flashbacks with Riker and the Titan at the beginning?
Dude, give it up. Your novelverse is over.

Bloody typical. Why do they refuse to give us ships. They are just as big as characters as the humans.
Not the Titan though.

This episode is just as bad as I feared once I heard the Japan spoilers. There's literally no reason for Rizzo to kill Hugh, she needs him alive as he knows where Picard went!!! We're literally at the point where the villains are being grimdark and evil to the point they'll commit actions that impede their own goals. That strikes me as very poor writing.
No she doesn't. Brother dear is tracking La Sirena via Jurarti.

That was already going wrong with rios onto narek
She doesn't know that.

Where did this happen and why are you derailing the thread over it?
And even if it did happen, that’s no excuse to be making that comment. It’s not the same thing to attack someone about their place of birth vs something biological. And “an eye for an eye” leaves the whole world blind. Do not make fun of people even if you’re made fun of. That’s their mistake, and it shouldn’t also be yours.

Dude, give it up. Your novelverse is over.
The Titan was established in Nemesis, not the novels. (And the exterior and the bridge were shown non-canonically at Star Trek: The Tour with Tuvok and Wesley as crew members.)

While data is referred to as sojis father, maddox would fit the way soong was called datas father. How will soji react once she learns agnes killed maddox?

I don't really like how Hugh basically sacrificed himself and all these xBs to help out Picard and Soji. I wish it was resolved better.

Stupid Romulans.

Holy shit that episode rocked. And it had some awful shit in it too. FFS why the fuck do you have the Rikers have a son that died from something that could have been cured by having an active positronic matrix when they knew all 4 Soong type androids. C'mon that is terrible awful, overcoincidentally, 10^-2345678 and it still happens type of bullshit yet this episode still is a 10. As for the preview for next week. 10 WFTs.

I wonder if I enjoy these more at night as opposed to at 5 AM.

But I think that's the point. You got to have gradients. You have Picard who is pure good, you have bunch of grey/questionable characters in the middle, and then you have Rizzo as pure evil to balance out Picard. Without a pure evil character to define boundaries in a show, you can't have good vs evil. If everyone is bunched up in the middle, it could also get a bit tedious.
No problem with evil characters, she is awful though..like a caricature..

Maybe this guy is Hirogen? Hard to tell with the lighting

So kind of lucky that the Sikarian device dropped Picard and Soji off right where they needed to be on Nepenthe. Unless there was something I missed in the queencell scene from the last episode, that made blowing up the Death Star seem trivial in comparison.
Could have gotten closer to the house so the old man didn't have to walk so far. ;)

The mind meld at the beginning was very similar to Spock’s in Discovery. A rather piece of poor story telling to use the same trope you did just before.
Have you met Star Trek????

Why is Picard kind of an ass all of a sudden?
He was always a bit of an ass.
If Soji is a super smart android, can't she do a super fast internet search on Picard to determine for herself whether he's trustworthy? He's not exactly an unknown figure.
Yes, internet searches are a great way to do this.

the child actor was pretty solid and for some reason gave me young Kirsten Dunst vibes;
I was thinking Leif Garrett, but that might just be the hair.

The photo of Picard with infant Thad was taken in 2381 or 2382 which means the uniform change happened not long after NEM and not closer to 2385 and the Synth attack on Mars. It was also taken in the Enterprise-E observation lounge.
