Klingon change for season 2?

I like this Orion!
Red and Green always works together :)

Was Clint Howard's character an Orion? If so, I don't think I realized he was green.

It's Marvel. No one is every truly gone.
There used to be a saying, that everybody except for Bucky, Jason Todd and Gwen Stacy would eventually return from the dead. They don't use that saying anymore since two out of these three were resurrected...

IIRC they actually didn't use makeup on many of the background Orions. They just changed the color of their skin in postproduction.
I remember people here saying that, but not sure if it ever turned out to be substantiated or not. In this video around 2:40 you can see that at least one of the extras is indeed in makeup on set.

And James Mackinnon discussed preparing Orion makeup with TrekMovie: "It was four colors we have to spatter and spackle on there just to give it life and depth. Just so it’s not a solid blue, solid green, solid any color character..."

(Hetrick's comments there also make it sound as if it were intentionally bluer, too. Yet, also note that he refers to lighting and the actor's skin color being factors that need to be compensated for "so that when light goes through it and bounces back to your eye it doesn’t look like a dude in blue paint.")

Further, I just discovered by glancing at Memory Alpha that the script for "The Cage" apparently contains a cut line—"Do any of you have a green one?"—suggesting they may have been intended from the very beginning to come in other colors besides just green, FWIW.

As far as the Klingons in Discovery, I would love to see younger versions of Gorkon and Chang if at all possible. Chang especially is someone who I imagine fought during the 2256-2257 war.

We probably wouldn't even recognize them. They would look so drastically different in DSC. Maybe they would have been infected by a pre-augment virus virus.

They would just have to handwave it the way DS9 did with Kor, Kang and Koloth (no one was expecting an official explanation a the time of DS9).

He's green, but most of his scenes are filmed in nearly blue light. He's not going to look extremely green in those conditions.

General Chang had similar views as T'Kuvma, he was afraid of the Federation destroying Klingon culture.

He was also bald... hmm.

Considering Chang has the same views as T'Kuvma's group, maybe he shaved his head to honor them?

But then the Klingon High Council in Discovery didn't seem to have hair either, not just T'Kuvma's group.
