Why do ghosts always wear clothes?

Whether we are talking about fictional ghost or people who talk about seeing a real ghost one thing in common is that they are always fully dressed. Since it's hard to believe that clothing also dies and transforms into a spirit there must be a logical reason. I mean the fiction is easy. Often can't show nudity and also it's a quick visual que to show when said character died. Not sure why a real ghost would still have clothes though.

Tell that to the two ghosts me and my sister saw when we were younger and siting on our porch. We lived kind out in the country and you could see them jogging in the rain and when the lighting struck I swear you could see through them and when we called out to them they said nothing!

Maybe they died while jogging and are now destined to jog until their souls can move on or something. Granted it's also possible that ghosts are kind of phantom images from a alternate universe which means in that universe two regular people were jogging that wasn't happening in this world and the storm allowed us to see between the veil.

Did the lightning strike near them? Did the lightning strike them? If the lightning struck close enough, is it possible the thunder deafened them sufficiently that they couldn't hear you? Jogging ghosts are rare, indeed. You wouldn't think the dearly departed would give much thought to their cardiovascular health now that they've shuffled off this mortal coil.

The very idea that spectres would jog endlessly down some dusty country road is, from a folk tale standpoint, ridiculous. Otherwise, it's just stupid.

I'm not sure were the lighting hit. It wasn't my first encounter though with spirits. I swear I saw a pair of eyes staring at me in my bedroom once and I screamed. Their is the demon creature I saw when I was half asleep, half awake. Also something use to always hide my car keys and I would never know where they would be.
