That has never been 100% true, even in Mirror, Mirror. Remember the Halkens were peaceful in both universes.don't know why writers do this. It's the Mirror Universe, EVERYONE IS EVIL (or good if they're EVIL in the PU)

I really hope that this is exactly what happens. No, I predict they will jump back in time, mirror Georgiou will swap places with prime and be the one that's killed on the Klingon ship, while Prime Georgiou and the Shenzhou is saved....or something like that.![]()
My Tilley prediction regarding the spore
We find out Tilly is the sweatiest member of the crew and doesn’t wash here clothes. Come to find out a whole spore colony has grown in her uniform and they are able to harvest enough spores for a final jump.
I think Saru did well as acting captain
And I still think .. especially after the little flub on after trek regarding his last show ... PU Lorca will eventually be found.
The captains haven't been the focus of this series so I don't think that's a concern. Why not have an alien captain?Agreed and would mind seeing him permanent captain. However my concern there is how it will work narritively and this is nothing against his character.
A non-human permanent captain creates from narritive issues since typically the captain is the role the audience relates to the most and kind of the eye of the viewer on what is going on. Having that view be from an alien perspective could make it tougher for the audience to relate. Now it could be the plan is to keep with Michael and have Saru Captain and Michael as the "eye of the viewer" but honestly I think doing that hasn't worked well in season 1. Lorca still became the main focus of the show.
It could be done but it presents from tricky issues from a writing standpoint to have a non-human captain.
We've heard nothing about the true ISS Discovery. Could they have just been in another region of the MU away from all the happenings of USS Disco?Do ever find out what happened to Killy?
I have to disagree here. If the Discovery had blown up the Emperor's ship, killed anyone on board and destabilzed a foreign government only to go home, that would have been incredibly selfish and un-Trek likeI think the stakes still would have been high enough if the destruction of the Mycellian Network meant that Discovery would be forever stuck in the MU.

I thought it was a key moment in the Saru/Burnham relationship when, after expressing some understandable skepticism that they had all been fooled about Lorca's true identity, with only a little bit of convincing from Stamets, Saru accepted Michael's story and leapt to her rescue first and then to her assistance in executing their plan to save the network and by extension the universe(s).I keep saying I don’t want Saru to be captain. But every time he is in that captains role he nails it. He has such a calming influence over the crew when I think we thought of him originally as showing the opposite. The part where he says to Burnham “my friend” his whole character arc comes full circle. I think it was well done.
The teaser for next week doesn't really line up with the ending of this week on that score. The Federation have no ability to respond to a signal, not even an automated beacon.... but actually are two thirds still armed and 80% unconquered? Based on what Saru saw, his assessment is accurate. But it seems that the show decided not to be quite so desperate after all.
