A decent episode, nothing to write home about. CBSAA is going bye-bye for awhile now.

This one got a solid 10 from me. I loved it. Like many, I was on the edge of my seat for most of the show.

Loved it when
Lorca treated his eyes at the last second so that he could see the Klingon ship go up without it blinding him.
Fucken badass; loved it.

Yeah, I hope that we can put to rest the "Lorca is EEEVIIIL" whinefest. While he definitely enjoys bending and breaking rules even more than Kirk, this episode should help to make it plain that in his core he wants to do good.

Him telling Starfleet to give the medal to Stamets was another really classy move. He isn't in it for the honor or fame, this is his personal inner journey towards redemption.

So this is the end of Kol?

Indeed. You might even say

34:37 - A male voice (not Lorca) says: "Cadet Decker, please report to the ready room" as Burnham exits the turbolift and prepares to go to Tyler's quarters (following their return to Discovery and Lorca's talk with Admiral Terrel).

Wow. That was exciting! And although I've liked the series so far, I don't think I've ever said that about it until tonight. Great pacing and action throughout the episode. Loved just about everything, especially that the Klingons spoke English, sparing us of the monotony and drone of their language. I'm surprised they were going to originally end the half-season with the last episode and not this one. I'm glad they changed their mind. That got me far more exited about what comes next than last episode did.

And oh yeah, was not expecting Klingon boobage.

Unless, of course, he purposely sabotaged Stamets' last jump in order to strand the ship in an alternate universe in order to get out of being reassigned off his ship (as would certainly happen when he went to talk to Admiral Terrel "in person").

The man has a problem.

So this is the end of Kol?

I have to say those sensors they planted on the Klingon ship were too big. I would have expected something small and not easily detectable, but I guess it didn't matter at the end.

Great episode!!

Kol may be gone, but Kenneth, can come back as maybe a Vulcan or an Andorian. :)

Ken could replace Jeff Combs as the new rubber master for the next generation.

Speaking of rubber masters, is Vaughn Armstrong coming back?

Yeah, if it was deliberate I would have to think it's just "strand us in some random alternate universe where I can maintain command" not actually go to his particular home universe on the first shot. I mean, we know that he's been studying Stamet's data, but I doubt he would know enough to know just the right moment to interfere in order to get to the proper alternate universe on the first shot.

Great episode.

Stamets goes silver eyed and godlike. Will he become Gary Mitchell or a Q or something more benign?

I still think Tyler is Voq but I’m darned if I know how they pulled it off physically. Where did the technology come from? . L’Rell could have done something to him psychologically.to make him believe he is human or maybe his mind was merged somehow with the real human Tyler.

Some kinder, gentler writer has got his/her hands on Captain Lorca and made him sound a touch more warm and approachable.

Glad they saved Admiral Katrina.

Glad Burnham got her captain’s comm badge back and hope she disinfects it really well.

If they’re lost between dimensions, Burnham isn’t going back to prison, Lorca won’t be forced to retire and Star Fleet won’t be using the spore drive on a regular basis.
