And Kirk would purse his lips, nod in approval and then glance over to subtly flirt with Burnham.
Janeway would say he wasn't crazy enough, and Archer would drool and fall asleep because he's like 130 now.

I think the higher scores are because the previous three episodes left a lot to be desired. This episode had some flashes of classic Trek, but is still not yet there. You and me both.
Not from me. I disliked the first two episodes, thought the third was good, and think the fourth is good. Tastes vary, certainly, but if I didn't like it, I'd say so.

That was lighting fast.Welp, Elon Musk already has an entry on Memory Alpha, so it's an official part of canon.

There is no better love instructor. The tardigrade would need to know about the human concept of love. Who better to teach it?
The scenes where everyone's posturing? Those are boring. The close up scene where Voq and L'rell are removing the dilithium processor? I liked those scenes. Up close, there's a subtlety the two actors manage to convey. I think L'rell is sweet on him, to be honest, but I also sense a fierce loyalty from her, and was genuinely surprised when it seemed she had truly turned on him. I was glad my feelings were correct later, though, when she returned to save Voq from death. You don't think the Klingon scenes were interminable? Serious question.

I don't see your point."Move Along Home" begs to differ. "Threshold". "Spock's Brain." "A Night in Sickbay". "Code of Honor". Etc.
The only reason people are falling over Lorca is because of Isaacs.
My favorite part of the episode was everything dealing with the Ripper and Burnham’s relationship with it, and the torture it is going through as navigator.
