Sadly yes. Simon said the just didn't have a meaningful way to get her into the storyline. We never saw Carol Marcus even though she was allegedly part of the crew.

Wil Wheaton said:Do we really have to keep destroying the Enterprise?
I don't think Wil Wheaton saw the same film as me: https://medium.com/@wilw/some-thoughts-on-star-trek-beyond-fe00acca7037#.28t1ytcyf
people are different for real. if I remember his STID review. he called the film the best trek film yet.
He's been out and about with the traveler so....I don't think Wil Wheaton saw the same film as me: https://medium.com/@wilw/some-thoughts-on-star-trek-beyond-fe00acca7037#.28t1ytcyf
That was really his only criticism that I agreed with-the destruction of the Enterprise could be done less, but then, in most action films, major cities would also like it if they would stop destroying them.I agree with this part of Wheaton's critcism, but I enjoyed the movie much more than he did:
She is.
Wolff is the human character's name.I thought it was Lydia Wilson?

It's funny, if you told Trekkies in 1987 that they would one day care what Wil Weaton had to say they would have laughed in your face.
Not confusing anything - just amused by the shower thought of how much Trekkies hated Wesley Crusher and were equally dismissive of Wheaton's subpar acting, but nowadays he's become a nerd guru. That's because you're confusing the actor with the role he plays. People used to hate actors who played the bad guys.

The Digital Bits is saying that Star Trek: Beyond (BD, BD3D, DVD & 4K), as well as a Star Trek Trilogy Blu-ray Collection(including 2009, Into Darkness, and Beyond) are going to street on 9/20.
