One thing you can say about fan productions--it's easier for them to keep their stardates in consistent chronological order.

The modern television series and films never had a problem with this. It's only really an issue with TOS, and even then if you watch the series in stardate order, it still works out quite nicely. Chekov ends up on the Enterprise well before "Space Seed" and "All Our Yesterdays" becomes the series finale. Works for me!

Personally, I don't care. "Turnabout Intruder" was a barely passable episode, but certainly not what I'd call good.
what was the other, Trouble With Tribbles? :PI watched Fairest of Them All and really liked it.
I've only watched 2 episodes of TOS and one of them is mirror mirror.
It was a good idea to show what happened after.

I've only seen a handful of the original series episodes.

I think what gets me the most about the series is that sometimes I'll be watching Vic do his thing, and I'll forget it's Vic. Instead, it's James Kirk, and I'm watching an episode from the 1960s that happened to be lost until now. It doesn't last for long, but there are times when I completely forget I'm watching a fan film. That, IMO, is how you do it.
