I've never seen anything like that, but successful show runners get interviewed. Ones who are viewed as failures try to distance themselves from that so they can get past it and get better jobs in the future.
Besides which, what would you really expect then to say? I'd imagine they'd point out the episodes they thought were good and not comment on the rest of them.
