Your top 10 favorite Voyager episodes?

Just 10...that's hard ;) Unsurprisingly they will all be B'Elanna episodes for me.

Prophecy
Lineage
Drive
Muse
Barge of the Dead
Juggernaut
Extreme Risk
Blood Fever
Day of Honor
Bride of Chaotica

Barge of the Dead was an interesting episode about the relationship between B'Elena and her mother. I wonder if the Klingon pride & honor will be as important for the daughter as it was for the mother.... .

As for Bride of Chaotica, wasn't it rather a huge Janeway/Paris/Kim/the Doctor's episode than a B'Elena's? Anyway, it was a good episode (and above all, very funny!). The only thing which disturbed me the first time, was all the B/W scenes. I read somewhere that actors really shot their indoors scenes in a B/W set... and that, they enjoyed the humor/outfits of another time (funny to see how people from the 50's-60's saw the future!).

This is incredibly difficult, but I guess I like these the most. :)

Eye of the Needle
Displaced
Timeless
Relativity
Dragon’s Teeth
Pathfinder
Fair Haven
Fury
Bliss
Shattered

just outside of the top ten: Life Line, Critical Care

Yeah it's not a B'Elanna episode but one of my favorites

1. Year of Hell.
You lived it with them. Their realization that something wasn't going to end in a week or two weeks. The losses and struggles and heroics. The horrible food and miserable conditions. Scars on faces there to stay. Chakotay and the watch. Tuvok blind, Seven guiding him. Janeway touching that same blind Tuvok's face goodbye. Janeway captaining her ship and slamming Voyager into the Krenim timeship.

2.Basics II.
Obviously it followed Basics I but I liked the reward of the second part. I hated the way the Kazon creep had hit Janeway like some inferior female. Hated seeing the crew removed from the safety of Voyager stuck on some planet where they had to light fire with their hair. By the second part Suder, the Doctor and Tom had come though, with Talaxian support. I can't take my eyes off Suder in this episode.

3.Futures End.
I actually love the return to Earth aspect of this and I usually hate that type of thing when it is set in the past. The clothes, Tuvoks ears, the girl and Paris. Starling is so smug and played so well. Braxton.. 29th Century technology just makes it all the better. The mobile emitter changed the Doctor forever after.

4.Timeless.
Great Harry and even Chakotay episode. One of the best scenes ever in any Star Trek with Voyager crashing along the ice. It's icily beautiful and tragic.

5.Eye of the Needle.
I just simply like the Romulan in this episode, he is so dignified. It was like the crew had this cheat's possibility of getting home quicker, getting a message out. Life isn't like that.

6. Tuvix.
Reallly perverse and ethically philosophical. I especially liked Kes in this episode, related to her. Janeway once again took the full burden of being captain on her shoulders. Tuvix was confronting.

7. Worse Case Scenario.
Tuvok's training hologram being embraced as an adventure.. Tuvok and Tom working together, I like the way it all unfolded. I like Bride of Chaotica too..

8. The Void.
Lots of good stuff in this one. Aliens working together, backing Voyager. Spying on each other. Those funny fantome creatures or whatever they were.

9. One.
Good Seven and the Doctor episode. Voyager .. her crew in stasis . Kind of liked the sense of self-reliance in this one and waiting.

10. Caretaker.
Thank you for getting us all off to a good start. The groundwork was done and the pacing along with story telling came together well. I especially liked Janeway's rallying speech at the end.

Also..
Macrocosm. The flying 'wasp' bugs and Janeway ready to shoot.
Shattered. Time slips and crossovers galore and Chakotay taking the lead.
Tsunkatse. When Chakotay, Neelix can't remember who else are in the crowd and realize Seven is about to fight..
Endgame. Admiral Janeway sacrificing herself and infecting the Borg Queen.

Adding even more..

Species 8472.. best alien of the Quadrant award ;)

Chaotica is more the 1930s - 40s. Even in the 60s, the campiness of Chaotica would have been laughed at. Personally, I despise the Chaotica storyline. Very gimmicky.

Dr. Smith from Lost in Space sort of reminds me of Chaotica. And Capt. Proton was very much like Flash Gordon, wasn't it?

Was the Capt. Proton program one that was written by Tom? One of his originals like Fair Haven. I read a fan fiction once where the original story/source material he based the program on was written in the 20th century by Benny Russell (Capt. Sisko's alter ego from the Far Beyond the Stars universe of DS9).

In reply to the question appearing just above me......
Actually there are more than 50 episodes out of which any 10 may seem to be top episodes.
For example I may write 10 doctor"s episodes at the top.
Living Witness
Real Life
Latent Image
Message in a Bottle
Life Line
Projections
Lifesigns
Author Author
Critical Care
Heroes and Demons

However after long deliberation I have arrived at my TOP 10
I cannot order them.

Death Wish
Deadlock
Flashback
Future's End
Worst Case Scenario
Scorpion
Living Witness
Timeless
Blink of an Eye
Shattered

This is an old one, but not too old yet.
And I like top 10 lists, so...

1. Counterpoint
2. Scorpion 1 & 2
3. Drone
4. Distant Origin
5. Voyager Conspiracy
6. Future's End 1 & 2
7. Relativity
8. Living Witness
9. Blink of an Eye
10. Latent Image

...then maybe Blood Fever. Or Tuvix. This is harder than I thought.

Well this is hard! I'm a big fan of character pieces so I guess the first ones to pop into my head, in no particular order, are:

Nemesis ( My favorite by a long shot. When you can 'train' your audience to believe the same lie as your main character, that is great writing imo)
Year of Hell
Scorpion
Equinox
Timeless
Memorial
Basics
Night
Coda
Deadlock

Honorable Mention:
Shattered- not for character development but to show how far the crew had come since the beginning.
The Fight- I know . everyone hates it but Chakotay's raw fear of going crazy is something many people deal with every day. The scene where Chakotay hugs his grandfather and begs 'Come home' to which the grandfather replies 'No. I'm too tired. This is a nice place...a nice place to call home. Hmm.' broke my heart. The way they rest their heads against each other as if both are weary of the fight is gut wrenching and then you hear the bell ring...

The Fight- I know . everyone hates it

*ahem, no- just everyone but us haha.

Blink of an Eye
Year of Hell

Night
Worst Case Scenario
Scorpion
The Void
Bride of Chaotica
The Fight

I go for the 20 best episodes:

1. Cold Fire

3. Caretaker

4. Warlord

5. Basics

6. Projections

7. The Swarm

8. Darkling

9. Time And Again

18. The Thaw

19. Nemesis

20. Before And After

Interesting list, you really loved "Fury"??? One of the most hated Voyager/Trek episodes ever? That's quite surprising.
I also didn't like "Endgame" or "Unimatrix Zero" although i must say the second half was still better. Also did you really like "Scorpion Pt II" better than Part I? Most people prefer the first half. Good taste @ "Drone", "Prey", "The Gift" and "Year of Hell" though.
I also feel "Unity", "11:59" and "Lifesigns" are underrated...Blood Fever not so much though!
I don't think Fury is universally hated. Threshold takes that spot. I think there are select few who hate Fury.

Well I see some added extra so I'm going to put up one more that I love but had to leave off the list of 10

Unity- I like the idea a collective can exist that isn't one dimensional. No queen, collective voice but very different. The flashes of memory as they heal Chakotay is beautifully done. I also think the horror of thinking you are free, only to find out you are not is well played.

I do love my psychological dramas.

“Blink of an Eye”
“The 37’s”
“Lifesigns”
“Timeless”
“Prime Factors”
“Prototype”
“Scientific Method”
“Author, Author”
“Living Witness”
“Deathwish”
