Your latest purchases, cont.

A few groceries. Stamps (yes, I still use snail mail occasionally). And I signed the contract for my kitchen remodeling!

I have just received

StrangeMaps.jpg

and, after discussing him briefly in TNZ, I have just ordered a secondhand copy of

The Tall Chief: The unfinished autobiography of Edward W. Wynkoop.

Toy Story (Bluray)
Toy Story 2 (Bluray)
Toy Story 3 (Bluray)
Note: Buying them individually costs less than the box set.
How To Train Your Dragon (Bluray)
Disney's: A Christmas Carol (Bluray)
Bloom County: The Complete Collection, Vol 2

Mum & dad went to IKEA today, asked if I wanted to join them -which I did!

I bought one of those things (don't know the anglo name for them: please help me with that!) that you install above where you do your cooking; they, then, suck up all the vapours! cost me 999 Kr (~183 US$).

And, while I was there, I also got a big ol' mat to put in front of my door, a nice rug (probably for the cat to piss on :sigh: ), a couple of lamps (two of the old-fashioned 'bulp'-type that are dim-able but have a better light-to-heat ratio than the usual incandescent ones) and one 3W LED thing to light up my desk (looks a bit like the 'heat ray'-device on top of the UFO's in the 1953 War of the Worlds film! :rommie: plus a forty-LED-balls-of-light-chain for outdoors use.
(and a few other things -while I was there...)

In Australia they are called a rangehood. I am not sure what they are called in the rest of the English speaking world.

Vent, though range hood is used too.

Just ordered these:

They're for my cross stitch pieces- the top will have teacups, the bottom a classic car (I don't think Dad would want an overly cute cat).

I gave in and pre-ordered the Six Million Dollar Man complete series DVD set from TimeLife today. Early Christmas present for myself.

Now I just have to occupy my time during the annoying wait for the mailman to bring it.

I bought a 27" iMac with core i7 processor, 4 gigs of ram, and a 1tb hard drive on monday. Sadly, my schedule this week has had extremely limited free time, so I've only been able play with it for a few mins. But, next week looks real good as far as free time for me to have some fun with it.

Treasure Island, for my Kindle App. Well I didn't technically buy it, it was free.

Got two fancy diaries for my nieces and a stuffed animal for their baby sister. They'll be here after Christmas, so I can give it to them then.

When it arrives, you better damn well run in slo-motion to collect it.

... nanananananananana....

It isn't really my purchase but I just ordered the first two seasons of Hogan's Heroes for my son. They were on special and postage free - total combined price $AUD31.98.
