Bought Blu -Ray of Escape From New York for Hubby's Valentine's Day gift.
Nothing like a little Snake Plisskin for a holiday.
An espresso beverage and a pastry.
Enough of a collection that I wanted to be useful for why I need it, but not enough to complete the entire collection, itself. I only spent the money today after I read the status of one of the out-of-stock items and found out that their particular wording of that item meant that they're never expecting any more shipments of it. I'm worried now that the rest of what I'd like will be gone before I have the chance to come up with the cash for it. As it is, I decided to drop a couple of the pieces from my cart so I have a little more spending money until I can sell my van (was planning to sell it, anyway).
Oh, this also has something to do with my most recent post in the Happy thread.
Sorry to be so vague on both posts.
Two 12-packs of Redd's Apple Ale.
Another Mets ticket for my trip to NYC this summer.
(Yankees tickets haven't gone on sale yet. #firstworldproblems )
When Worlds Collide is one of my favorite of the 1950s sci-fi movies. I don't know if you like this sort of thing, but you can find the original novel from 1933 (or 1932, I forget which) published together with it's sequel, After Worlds Collide (1933/1934) from Bison Frontiers. I'm still disapointed that the sequel was never made into a movie. It was going to be at one time, but nothing came of it.
My latest purchase: groceries and pescriptions, and a new computer board for my refrigerator. Cost $198.
A Ridley Amiibo.
Just arrived 10 minutes ago
I listened to both audiobook versions back in 2017. I am not sure if I have ever seen the movie, if I did it was probably 40 odd years ago.
I was introduced to Mr. Men when my family visited London in the early 80s. My brother, who is a little over 4 years younger than me, was on a leash on that trip!
I rewatched When Worlds Collide a few months back and enjoyed it.
My latest purchase is some more USB memory sticks.
Monopoly for Millennials. Walmart is taking orders for these again (with free shipping), so no need to get price gouged on eBay or Amazon third party sellers.
Two new pairs of jeans, two new tops and a nightshirt.
Star Trek Sketchbook: The Original Series
Baseball tickets for my upcoming Toronto trip
The remaining available TWOK rank pins I didn't have.
Now I'm on a quest for the Commodore pin.
I treated myself to a new EDC flashlight. Part of the reason why I bought it, is the similarity to something else that I really like...
Of course, it would've been great if they made it in black!
It's aptly called the Lumintop Geek.
Ordered 3 Lego Movie 2 Blind packs.
Yet more baseball tickets, this time for Boston.
Unfortunately, I was unable to get out there for a Yankees/Red Sox series but I like Fenway Park very much - and I freaking LOVE Boston - so I'll take what I can get!
