Two new HDMI cables. A couple of the ones I have, are about a decade old.
A $20 and a $10 eshop card -- used the former for a Nintendo Switch online subscription.
Ended up getting Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (got it for $5.99 thanks to a MyNintendo discount) and Mutant Mudds Collection (got it for less than the $2.99 sale price, thanks to having some Gold Coins lying around -- $2.14).
A cheap but useful Maxscript plugin on the Autodesk Exchange.
It was far cheaper than I would have thought for how useful it is.
A new pair of work pants.
(Sadly, my attempts to fix the old pair using duct tape did not take hold. )
New Kindle Paperwhite and case. After five years, my old one has trouble even opening book files. It served me well.
A new mattress = goood sleep
A new computer monitor made for watching movies
A bowl of soup so I could sit there eating it like the dude in my avatar.
Klingon soup? Or Plomeek soup? Or Miso soup?
^Puree of gagh?
Recently, I bought a Billy Connolly dvd and the widescreen digital remaster of Day Of The Dead.
That's my (pee myself with laughter and scare the crap out of me) bowel movements sorted for the week.
I heard that duct tape is like "The Force."
It has a dark side and a light side and it can hold the universe together.
Klingon pop singer and actress: Lady Gagh-a
Also known as Mother Mogh-ster.
65" Samsung 4K HDR TV (NU6900) to be delivered on Saturday. Think I got a decent deal with free delivery from Best Buy (which is a fair bit away) and a free month of Sling TV.
Replacing a 50" Vizio 4K TV I bought four years ago. Though it doesn't have HDR. It will be going to my oldest son.
Can't wait to watch some Star Trek on it!
Are you sure that 65"s is big enough?
^ I've had my 65" OLED for three years and I'll definitely be upgrading to a bigger TV in a couple of years. I'm thinking a 77" OLED... maybe even 88" if the prices drop enough by then.
When it comes to TVs, they're never big enough.
Two movies from Amazon:
The First Man
Regin of the Supermen
Both on DVD.
65" is barely going to fit in the area I have for it.
