Your latest purchases, cont.

I bought the intergalactic one for my mom last year because I liked how it looked. She was yelling “It turned the water blue! Is it going to turn me blue too!?”

Makes me wonder if it would pass California Prop. 65 or not... allergic reactions, cancer, ecological issues once the tub is drained and water returned... let the baby bathe in it and it swallows some of that water? Pets... I'd have to read up more on it. You do know Yellow #10 (Aluminum Lake) is safe to ingest in small quantities but there's an upper limit before toxicity is induced? It's used as a coating for the drug. This bath ball thing is just for decorative use and regardless of due, there's far more in it than in a tiny pill. Then again, people also advocate wrapping themselves in plastic clingy wrap to lose weight or moisturize, completely unaware of the chemicals that leech from the plastic into the body... Yes, that's why I can't get a date by people who tell me to get one but are too lazy to help out. :p

I bought a ds9/voyager jumpsuit on ebay that some guy was selling for 175. It's by some company called fanplusfriend. I'm not familiar with them, but the reviews I've seen say it's a good quality uniform.

I've unable to find any anovos uniforms as most have been sold out since the summer. Hope this is good, even if it wont be that quality.

I don't know how true this story is but wasn't there a lady lawyer that liked wearing a trek uniform? Not in court but I remember seeing a story on TV about a woman lawyer who wore a TNG uniform most of the time.

I bought a book at Salt Lake City FanX Comic Con from author James A. Owen. Turns out the author went to high school with my brother. He signed the book and drew a Dragon on the inside cover.

Probably true. I dont remember if it was in Trekkies but I remember there being a dentist who did the same. Made a trek themed office.

A friend of mine used to work with a guy that would dress up like Doctor Who every day to work. I haven't seen that yet, though I did once see a person regularly wearing an Attack on Titan uniform jacket everywhere they went.

I often wonder if of the Trekkies that caught the media eye post here. There was a guy that styled his flat like quarters on Voyager, complete with LCARS panels everywhere. Wonder what became of it.

Wasn't that an apartment that he later could not sell?

I think so. I imagine he’d have had to revert it back to normal to find a buyer. Wonder what the buyer survey said.

For today’s purchase, I have sunk even lower in to nostalgia and purchased a tin of bacon grill to re-live my first attempts at feeding myself hot food in university digs.

Thanks! I don't normally go for florals but for some reason, I really liked that top. It makes a good contrast with the gray. I went with the sweater because they said the meeting was "business casual" (which for men means "khakis" but for women means, "What the fuck am I going to wear?!"), so I thought a blazer might be a bit much. Plus, I work from home 99% of the time, so I thought I would get more use out of the outfit.

I was finally able to get some Omeprazole. I've been out for about four days and have been paying the price. This was at about 7pm or so, but it hasn't taken full effect yet. Surviving on Tums right now.

Almost tossed my dinner (after it had been eaten).

I always try to have Ranitidine in for such emergencies. At £1.50 a box. It’s much cheaper than a prescription too.
