Your latest purchases, cont.

today my new keyboard gets delivered =) I managed to repair my old one but some keys react a bit sluggishly so I decided to get a new one after all. As I have several computers using the same keyboard, screen and mouse via an old hub, I needed a keyboard with a PS/2-plug which is pretty difficult to get nowadays. There are USB-adapters but most of them don't work properly even on the PC, let alone on hubs

Just ordered the Star Trek: Spaceflight Chronology from Amazon. A book that I've wanted for years, finally pulled the trigger.

My mom gave me her copy (along with the blueprints from TMP) in the early 80s. I think my dad bought them for her, but she DID enjoy Trek as a casual fan. That copy is well-worn now, but I've since gotten a better copy.

Really, you've never heard of a bath bomb? Are they called something else outside of North America?

Here's a video, you can see one in action!

No and I have never seen one for sale here in Australia, I guess it's not a popular thing here, at least that I know of.

You're a LUSH fan too?! Yay!!
The Intergalactic looks so cool and smells wonderful, but the glitter can be a bit much.
ETA: I've actually used the Rocket Science bath bomb with my preschool class! We needed to demonstrate how chemicals react, so I picked that bath bomb so our noise sensitive kids weren't bothered by a loud bang.

A set of new rechargable batteries for my landline phone.
The old ones lasted more than a decade but lately the phone switches off completely at every incoming call (even though the batteries are shown as fully charged). I'm curious if the phone will work properly again with the new ones. I'd hate if I'd have to get a new phone - the old one has a sound quality new ones can't compete with.

I bought the intergalactic one for my mom last year because I liked how it looked. She was yelling “It turned the water blue! Is it going to turn me blue too!?”

The colors are definitely vivid. I may go pick up something from LUSH later this week.
Right now, my latest purchase was fruit bars, vegetables, chips, and two prescription meds.

Captain: What you say!
