There is very little continuity between episodes.

Almost every story is written by different little people who have no idea what's happening anywhere else in the season. Later in the writers room, and the producers rewrite the episodes they farmed out so that they make sense being one after another, almost.

That's where the real money is at.

That list was pretty impressive.

IMO Kes and Neelix would've drifted apart romantically as it felt like the direction they were taking Kes was to have her gain more-and-more independence, although I think they would've remained close as their bond seemed quite tight.

Anyhow, that's just my POV
