Who Would You Get a Crush On?

If not happily married it would definitely be Robin Lefler:

Ashley Judd is exactly one day short of being one year younger than I am.

Loved 'THE SPEECH'. ;)

She had a name??? I never knew that. I mean I see her in lots in the show even to the point where I know she even changed the color of her uniform at some point. I wonder between her and Ensign Gates who was the most famous extra or popular extra. I guess you got to toss in Patrica Tallman as well because she went onto to bigger things with "Babylon 5." It's even kind of weird to see Lyta Alexander being a extra. Right up their with Louie Anderson being with the clown party in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."

Are we using the definition that a crush is an infatuation with someone unattainable or inappropriate? Are we just going to be a junior officer on the Enterprise?

If so it would have to be Captain Picard. There would be no hope that anything could come from it, but damn he is sexy in pretty much every way. Who is more unattainable than the Captain?

If we're talking infatuations with non-senior crew where something could actually happen, the first thought that comes to my mind is Ben the waiter from "Lower Decks". I find his confidence very attractive, like how he has no fear of the senior officers. He is cocky but not arrogant and he seems like he would be friends with anyone and looks down upon no one. He seems very secure with his place and really enjoys life. I find that type of exuberance in a man to be a turn on and it is infectious. I remember when watching that episode I immediately was drawn to him; he was my favorite of that group and I really wish we could have seen more of him.

I do not blame Geordi as far as it goes with Ensign Tyler. When someone is that puppyish it can be difficult to return affection.

Yes, to me a "crush" is someone that you are never actually so much as even kiss.
Like in real life I have a crush on a couple of the fencing directors. In reality I'd not actually be interested in doing anything with them. It's just a crush.

As far as hitting it with Picard. That would be my personal goal if I was stationed on the ship. Totally not a crush.

I think my crush would be for Riker or Barclay. Maybe both.

Unofficially, she had a name. But of course, never an on-screen reference. She fit the Trek Aesthetic well enough that they kept asking her back after her first appearance in season 4 (see Memory-Alpha for full details). She has been recognized enough from the fan base to continue showing up to conventions. You know, when people get bored enough of rehashing minutia about all the speaking role parts, they like to pick through the extras to see if there's something noticing. Tracee Cocco was one of those TNG extras that had enough of those momentary full "camera eye" shots, though only a few seconds per episode, to be recognizable. I really wish they'd given her the courtesy of saying a line or two somewhere fitting. Anyway, she even made it into the TNG movies with a helm position (only in one TNG episode did we see her at Ops, the bridge station usually occupied by Data).

I agree they should have given her line. Ensign Gates was able to get even one line. Also that male doctor/nurse guy who worked in Sickbay is another extra I can recall seeing a great deal. DId he have a name?

Ensign Allenby. I mean it's hard to judge her personality from what we saw but I think she might be a fellow nerd. Also Jenna D'Sora. First she would make the first move and just kiss you which takes away all the fear of rejection and she is a slob so no pressure on boring chores. You simply clean when the mess gets out of control.

I always liked Ensign Sonya Gomez. Bit clumsy but still a good looking girl.

But... the laws! Ugh. I mean, cute at first... but it would grow quickly annoying. I'd be like "If you ever meet a Ferengi, I'm in trouble--they have these 'rules' of acquisition, you know?"
;)

In all seriousness, I'd consider it just an insecurity and my underlying mission would be to help her overcome that... eventually toss out the laws. Be free, be free! :rommie:

Actually Troi can't read minds. She is a empath. She would be able to sense your moods all the time which could be a good nd bad thing. The good is that when your pain she will know it instantly. The bad thing is if your angry or sad I wonder if she might think it's because of her and she would always want to talk about it even though you might not feel like talking about or are not ready to talk about it.
