So far it sounds like it will be a prequel and sequel at the same time.
Like Rogue One, hopefully more of a squeequel. With occasional CG-assisted Hunter and Nimoy appearances. It's a sprequel!
It's a space station!It's not a prequel.![]()
You can communicate WITH THE DEAD !!!!!Possibly Arthur C Clarke
I don't have any expectations. If the story is good and entertaining, I'm willing to overlook a continuity error here and there.
I think he used the term orthoquel. Interquel seems to come from somewhere else. It's an Interquel. Don't ask me where I heard that, I don't remember.
Possibly Arthur C Clarke.
This is exactly how I feel. From word to word. I agree even with the colorMy Confidence Level is Above Average. Based on all we know and have been told, this has the makings of a what looks like a good show. Thirteen episode arc? I like it. Focus on a female second-in-command? Cool! Recurring Klingon characters involving the Empire's politics? I'm okay with that. New ship design? Got no problems with it, although the color in the initial teaser proved a tad startling. Gay regular character? Fine! Doug Jones as a new alien species? Oh, hell yeah! Set a decade before TOS? Cool! We hardly know anything about that period!
It all depends on execution, of course, but I count myself cautiously optimistic.
