I think I experienced the 80s several times during the 80s. For some reason there was a different aspect of the 80s (and especially the music) with every year that passed. One year it was electric pop, the next it was stadium rock, the next it was power ballads, the next it was SAW teen pop, then it might be old skool rap, then acid house, then Madchester...

I just want the old Top of the Pops back. It *was* Thursday night entertainment.
