Spoilers What other "special episodes" do you want to see on SNW?

An alternate Enterprise shows up, with the cast of Stargate SG-1. Jack O'Neil trade jabs with Pike. Teal'C and La'an gets stranded together on a moon due to B plot. Sam Carter trades technobabble with Spock.

I'll see you that and raise you this: The Battlestar Galactica and her rag-tag fleet appear on the edges of the Federation, having fled the the Colonies in the Greater Magellanic Cloud, and pursued by the Cylons, who happen to have a lot in common with the Borg.

And let's use old-BSG as the template for this rather than nu-BSG. The former never found Earth, while the latter did. (BSG 1980 does not count!)

Although honestly, the crossover I always wanted to see there was Apollo and Starbuck showing up to encounter Buck And Wilma.

I wouldn't mind a "Trials and Tribblations" style episode with TNG, as TNG rather than the TNG-derived movies or Picard. No interest in seeing them crossover with the senior citizen versions of those guys - although, thinking about it, some crossover by Old Riker is probably unavoidable at some point.

Don't know what TNG episode would work.

The Pegasus

Yeah, it's not really a brilliant idea, is it? TNG doesn't have a lot of stand-out shows that are particularly clearly remembered apart from the others. Tribbles was an episode that people are remarkably attached to. TNG? It'd have to be BOBW or "Yesterday's Enterprise," and I don't know what you could do with either.

It also helps that "Tribbles" was fun and low stakes, so you could easily build something into it that complements the original story. All of the beloved TNG episodes are serious business ones, it would undermine them to have other characters running around in the background doing something else.

The brave answer is you take one of TNG's rougher episodes and elevate it to memorable status with the cross over.

EDIT: Though really this concept might have to be done with an ENT episode instead. y'know cause TNG technically is a 4:3 show, SNW is widescreen, and only the movies, ENT, Disco, and PIC were made in widescreen before that

It is funny that the original post to this referenced Stargate. I honestly thought the time portal thing from the Lower Decks crossover looked like a stargate. It had the steps and everything .

As for special episodes, I liked how the season 1 finale was basically a remake of Balance Of Terror. I would love another episode like that where Pike is thrown into something Kirk dealt with. Not sure how they can do it, but a great episode to do IMHO was the one where the Enterprise gets intercepted by F-104 in the 1960s.

I agree with another poster about sending the SNW Enterprise crew to the Confederation timeline from Season 2 Picard.

If we do get a show with the G crew, I would expect a SNW crossover.

I like the idea of special episodes like this, I just don’t want SNW to go overboard with them.

They are totally doing a MU episode where Mirror Kirk (Wesley) plans the assassination of Pike. Mark my words.

I would genuinely enjoy this. Do it "Mirror Darkly" style, set entirely in the MU with an alternate opening and everything.

Yeah, a Mirror episode is a given for S3. But don’t do it with those over-designed Discovery Mirror-Uniforms. Just add the belts and such to the regular uniforms like TOS and Enterprise.

Maybe do something like Enterprises “First Flight” but have it be about Pike and April on launch day of the 1701. Maybe Pike was competing with someone else to be first officer. Give us an Archer cameo.

Recut TATV? Or pick a different ENT episode?
Unexpected(1x04), where the crew rigs up some holographic camouflage to hide the ship and protect the timeline, but... through a comedy of errors this holo-disguise takes a form apoximate to the D7 they saw in broken circle, and they just have to rationalize it as "well starfleet didn't have solid intel on the klingons at this time so they probably wouldn't know the difference..."

I like to think that Georgiou's successor as Emperor managed to get rid of the ridiculous, overblown pomp and cirumstance that infested the DSC-era Empire. So I'm sure that he or she ordered a total overhaul.

burnt out on mirror, burnt out on borg, burnt out on klingons, you know what that means. No not captain angel teaming up with harry mudd to somehow recruit tholians, Its time for another special not!first-contact ferengi episode!
