What one thing do you love about Voyager today?

I'll add another like, the Voyager bridge. Hands down the best Trek bridge set of all time.
I agree. Best Bridge. Very TUC-like. I like the TUC bridge, a lot. NX01 and ENT-E bridges are close though.

TOS bridge is too candy-colored
ENT-D bridge is too comfy
Defiant bridge is too cramped

I love the opening credits, it was everything I wished DS9's theme had been-bold, majestic, and evocative of exploring the unknown reaches of outer space.
The scientifically impossible reflection in the planet's rings ruins it. Silly, but once seen it cannot be unseen. Ever.

I always wondered what Voyager was doing flying so close to that star at the beginning. Especially while it was giving off such giant flares.

Goji, probably techno-babble involving increase shield harmonics to deflect killer rays.

Ship looks:
Enterprise-D, in my eyes, was an unattractive set with a color pallet that shows its decade on the air. Particularly the 80's lighting trying to pass off at futuristic.
Like they did with Janeway's hair. Not everything is timeless. I do like Picard's ship, don't get me wrong, but I'd like to hire an interior designer for that ship.

Voyager-silver, sophisticated and sleek bridge . My fave of course. But looking dated in terms of the displays as our touch technology grows. eg: Janeway's massive preschool-looking laptop but still the best eye candy ship . I might be biased here ;)

My favorite Federation ship exteriors are TOS Enterprise, and Voyager. Never liked the Galaxy class that much. Always preferred a dual forward console with astrogator in the middle over a single seat helm position.

The ship itself (interior + exterior), especially the fact that it could land.

Now that I am picturing those stumpy landing struts I think of those baby lizards walking lol! Probably because I just watched Scorey's Voyager Cracked video where the lizards were the running gag "Remember me?"

Hmm, what else do I love? The exterior action shots and last minute warp escapes.

Bridge pyrotechnics and Janeway still looking bad ass with her hair flung about.

How come Chakotay never flies out of his chair? Or does he?'I'd like to see Harry fly over the Operations console...hehehe. mean come on! Dampners go offline Janeway flings but the extras don't sometimes.

What I don't like-those consoles sure do explode easily and rather timely. Yikes.
When Picard says they work to better themselves I'd say forget that, I want hazard pay :-)

I have Seasons 1, 4, and 7. By Season 7, Chakotay looks too heavy to fly out of anything.

I love, love, love the opening credits. The music and images are breathtaking. I would love to see a version of the open updated today with all of the incredible improvements in 3d animation.

Amen. Easily the best credit sequence of any Trek show.

Beyond, the EMH and Seven are far and away the best characters on the show . . ..

So agree about the theme and images. I would say Janeway, EMH, and Seven for strongest characters.

I liked the "it takes a village" approach that the crew took for Naomi when her mother died. It really made me like Neelix a lot more too.

Unless I missed something, Samantha didn't actually die, though she did disappear. No, I would have to say that for me it was Briefings with Neelix. It combined the frothiness of Regis and Kathy Lee with the hard-hitting investigative topicality of O'Reilly vintage Inside Edition. :techman:

Samantha didn't die. She ended up in the Shuttle And Torpedo Building Team!

Because that department always had a lot of work to do, Naomi was left on her own most of the time. For reasons unknown, she was never considered to be a member of the Shuttle And Torpedo Building Team.
What was the behind-the-scenes reason for that, by the way? Was the actress unavailable? Memory Alpha doesn't mention it.

The Bridge is damn nice. A minor mention on that note, but I was watching a random episode of TNG the other day, and Riker put the Enterprise on Red Alert, and a red light bulb started flashing. That was it. The bridge didn't dim, which I think added a lot of tension to the important moments.

It's probably the only Trek opening sequence I feel guilty for skipping past. When I do. Because it's just so dang beautiful.
